Art Jamming Session

65 commentsI was honored to attend my dear friend kim chan's birthday party last week. He held the party in art jamming gallery in central, on wellington street. This art jamming place is awesome. I have been there once about five years ago for terence yin's birthday. And for those of you who haven't been there before, make sure you check it out if you are interested in doing some painting of your own.
You can pick and pay for a canvas depends on the size you want and they will supply you with acyrlic paints and brushes for free. You will have about five hours, that is how they charge you by sessions. which is not expensive at all. But you can enjoy the night painting with your friends and have fun.
This is what my friend kim did that night. Guess what is he painting?
a porcupine, didn't you see the spikes and the eyes and big nose? hehe.....
I'd decided to do a chinese ink painting with acrylic paint and canvas. It is kind of East meets West thingy....
