I got up early today and grabbed the table by the swimming pool...

It's the breakfast time...

Said good bye to this hotel in Negombo and headed for the South....

I just popped in the ruin of the temple on the way to the South...

It seems like that a cow is looking after the place....

The second place I visited was Pedeniya...

As soon as arrived, a friendly dog greeted me.

The third place I visited was the rock fortress of Yapuhuwa, the ephemeral capital of Sri Lanka in the 13th century.

The Yapahuwa staircase which leading up to the temple of the tooth.

They say this Yapahuwa Lion stone sculpture appears on the former 10-rupee banknote...

but i found the one here...

It was a long journey today and finally arrived a guest house. This dog called jimmy greeted me with a wag of his tail.  

Delicious home-cooked dinner was served by the guest house owner Arun. An early night tonight....

I found an interesting item which they are still selling...not the thing of the past in here??

I love walking around here. The details of the buildings are so beautiful!!

They say the Queen visited here in 1950s. It's the monument!

Just behind the monument, it smalls so badly and saw somthing there...

a huge amount of fish there. Yes, it's a famous fish town!

I came here for lunch by a tuk tuk! I love traveling around town by this convienient transport here!

A little flower pot outside in the restaurant is so welcoming...

I love the interior here...

And I had a relaxing beach time in the afternoon...

Isn't it beauuuutiful like a postcard? I'm loving the town but I'm going to the next town tomorrow... :-)

Happy 2012 so far and here my holiday blog starts...

It's the first time for me to land off from the Heathrow Terminal 4!

There was a delay due to snowing here...I knew it!!

I found a very quiet corner for myself to wait for the airplane.

We all boarded safely, but due to the snowing, we had to wait for de-icing process....of course, further delay....

They were making the effort to de-icing outside...

We finally took off at least and served very late dinner around 11:30pm...

As soon as getting up and saw a fabulous view from the window.

Sri Lanka, here I am!!

Somehow we all had to go through this shiny electric stores at the airport before collecting my baggage...

Wow, it's very hot here! That's what I wanted!!

I had a quick dip....

and had a gorgeous dinner at Lords Restaurant at Negombo!

I will have an early night tonight after the tiring flight. My holiday diary continues.... :-)

I guess it's snowing in London again?? BTW this 2 pictures came from the last snowing in London. 先日の雪で家の庭には大きな雪だるまを作っている人もいましたから･･･

The final acting job in London before coming to holiday was a kind of corporate acting with the lovely familiar faces. in the break time, I came to "itsu" for the first time for a Hotpot experience. I missed a bowl of noodle in such a cold day in London. "itsu" is a first growing and popular Western-style Japanese fastfood chain in London ...  さて、今年に入ってから本当に忙しかったのですが、旅行に出る前の最後の仕事で久しぶりにアリスとはるかちゃんと一緒でした。

There are a wide range of sushi too... お仕事の合間に、3人でここロンドンでうわさのitsuに初めて来ました。

The taste was great at my surprise! ここはファーストフードなんですが、このラーメンが意外においしかったです。

It was nice "itsu" experience!I'd love to come back here again. My holiday blog will start soon... こんな寒い日はやっぱラーメンが恋しいね・・・さて、僕のホリデーブログ、いよいよ始まります。お楽しみに！

I bumped into a familiar face today on my way to the location at Waterloo station! ロケ出発前に見慣れた顔に遭遇！

１時間ちょっとでスタジオ現場に到着！

He was smiling, but this room was very cold....彼は微笑んでいますが、この控え室、結構寒かったんです。

I'm tranformaing a several characters on this TV series, I became a JR Japanese train conductor today.  このアメリカのテレビシリーズでいろんな役やらせてもらっていますが、今日はJRの乗務員に変身!

Finally finished filming 3 hours behind the schedule and arrived at the station, we found out that there is a MAJOR gas leak at the train and a SEVERE delay...撮影が３時間遅れでやっと終わってホームに着くと、ガス漏れで電車がひどい遅延！

 

 

and still waiting at the station -4 degrees outside, the waiting rooms at the station are all locked on the both platforms, 馬鹿げてるのが、待合室は全部閉まっているんです。

What's the point of this opening hours! The early morning and late night, which are the time people need the place to shelter the most!! 変だなと思って、「営業時間」を見てみると、何と以下のよう。とほほ、何で閉める必要があるの？ずっと開けておけば人々は利用できるんじゃないの？？

This is the British magic! Why need to close there, just open all day! We never come across these silly opening hours in Japan...これこそ英国式なんです。みんなこんな変な事に文句も言わないで一生外で待ち続けるんですよ。

The waiting room is there, but people have to wait outside and there are a huge delay. WE haven't provided dinner...it was the worst Friday night so far... It's tough living in the UK. Ah, just want to moan at least, you know what you mean... 夕飯も出ずに、電車待ち、しかも寒い日に外で、周りに喫茶店らしきものは一切なし！！最悪な日でした・・・日本にも変な事たくさんあるけど、これは英国式の変な事の一つ、みなさん、こちらに来たら注意してくださいね。
