My date with Kaohsiung!

I was invited by some friends to visit Kaohsiung recently and these were the adventures I had! More fooda-li-cious than anything! Now people, if u know me well,u'd know i completely love eating my heart out. I know I know,I'm supposed to be a good girl and do things in moderation, but I promise, after this one, I'd go on diet! SOUNDS FAMILIAR? Okie boys and girls,these egg tarts were so super duper marvell-i-cious I almost wept. Portuguese egg tarts! They open at 2am! And close 11am the next morning! The white stuff that u see as rolls,are made of rice mixed with pork floss,dough fritters! These You-Tiao were the best things, they were so crisp and not too heavy on the taste buds!

My friends remarked that my hat reminded her of Jane March in The Lover! Help! Not that it's not a good thing but all I can remember about that movie was ahem,yes, those exciting goings on!!

This is watermelon plus mango and honey melon shaved ice. It's goooooood.

Red bean plus mocha,oh oh oh....oh.... U can propose to me using this. Hahaha.

This mango ice was so big ass it's like the washing basin I have at home! My friend insisted that I ate it all up,so we ordered it. I almost died.

AT 4am after we went to a live band performance,I decided we were hungry again. This is soya beancurd,the one on the left is sweet and the right is the salty one. SALTY! Really really really love it. It's my favourite thing.

And the winner is the Shao Bing plus You Tiao on the right. Yes U get these everywhere but this place is very famous. The shao bing is a baked pastry bread with the authentic old school oven and the dough fritters were very crisp. The above are egg pancakes,pretty nice but I was more interested in the shao bing!

This is Jen,in blue. She's from Cali and has gone back. I miss LA! Boo hoo hoo.

Honestly,Jen is really cute. We were singing Karaoke! It was cool,she is a complete emblem of a Taiwanese girl. Small,pretty and pixie.

These pups were caged! It was a nightmarket in Kaohsiung! I was abit sad. Anyways,these were the fun experiences I had and because my friend who invited me hosts events for live bands and all, he even almost succeeded getting me to do a duet with the band.Haha they were singing my favourite song, U2's With or Without U. This pub has alot of hot singers performing, guys like Zhang Zhen Yue, MC Hotdog and Huang Xiao Hu!!
