Yes, congratulations are in order because we are new proud parents of.....(hehehe not what you're thinking hehehe)... Renee, the coolest mongrel ever! We adopted her from the Hong Kong Dog Rescue and I am completely smitten. She's an elegant old lady who is just the biggest cuddle monkey on the face of this earth. I connected with her the moment I encountered her, and let me tell ya that that actually means a lot because there were about a hundred dogs jumping all over me, trying to get some human loving, but she really made such an impression on me. So for one week, I thought about her non-stop, even dreamt about her, and figured that that meant we had some unexplainable connection. Whether we do have a connection, or I'm just an insane dog loving person who reads way too much into what animals do and think, she is definitely a very happy cookie right now...

Ah, a dog from the dog rescue plus an elderly lady... I am an animal rights activist and I love you big time for your animal loving heart ^_^v
I just wish more people will follow your good example, there are too many unloved pets out there!

she has a dry nose which means she is not healthy .maybe you can take her to visit a doctor. my english is poor,hope you could undersatnd what i mean.

adopting little pets like this... seldom i will encounter ppl doin this so much nowadays, my family had adopted different types of dog on the street and from clinic... some owner put their dog at the clinic and ask Doctor to put them to sleep if no one wanna adopted it, one reason they give is, the dog is old, is smelly, the dog is blind... the dog fights... all this crap nonsense i heard... i get one old female rottweiler home, i gave her a name ''Merry" coz i adopted her during christmas festive ... 4years later this now, a small tumour grow on her jaws... its cancer. .. i just would say sometimes why god wanna do like this? doctor say put her to sleep... i would say ''no''... You have no rights to decide she lives or dies... Just give her the best treatment and i believe in karma and the dog needs to suffer for somethg before they proceed to the next life. If u put her to sleep, means u kill her, u murder her... she will have to recycle again ! Sorry~out of topic here... last but not least, i am proud of you Lisa!!!
