Creatures|

copy and pastePatricksent me this video because my installation for the biennale reminded him of this. These creatures are cool especially because they rely totally on natural power to "live". A product of  Amsterdam cafe's no doubt.

pretty intriguing. Tho it seems very dependent on wind energy, hence the environment is impt. Didnt view in detail wats the purpose for tho :P Only saw it stores energy (which will run out?) in case it needs to move away from the danger/sea

i've seen this guy's work before. Its interesting but I don't like that they're trying to pretend that these are something more than just kinetic sculpture or simple mechanical devices. its about as much an animal as a piece of tumbleweed... actually I take that back, a piece of tumbleweed was actually alive at one point. :-P

In the name of science, originality, creativity and the art, evolution is a interesting creature, definitely not a scary one. I think it will not be long that the creature may be able to walk front and back too. It would also be interesting to work this into curvature form. Like the electronic snake device that are used to crawl into tunnels. I was wondering how did you manage to add TED into AnD. I have tried adding some of my favorite clips but was never successful, Maybe this is a new script in AnD or TED. I hope. Then I can share my finding on TED with friends in AnD. Thanks for this.

Have you ever thought of collaborating with the folks who put together the "Architecture is Art" Festival? Many of them also seem connected with Zuni Icosahedron. They are especially involved with critical city planning issues that will impact the future of Hong Kong is very big ways. They also appear to have a mission of educating the public and officials in Hong Kong about the true potential of architecture as a building art, not just a form of real estate investment.
