Some movies i've watched recently:

Constantine: 3rd rewatch 7.5/10

-acting wasn't great

-effects was great

-cinematography was good

-concept and story was good

• Everlast, a project created by D. Miles is going to be a tad bit in this flavor. (with martial arts of course)

-Rachel weiss became less attractive after the acting didn't come through. dont get me wrong, she was GOOD, but i was looking for a lil more to counterbalance KEANU (whom i like also). i think, say someone like ROBIN WRIGHT PENN would have just totally killed it hehe. but i'm not hating. i like rachel.

FUNNY PEOPLE: was pretty funny 6.5/10

-adam sandler is a good actor

-acting was really good

• the hangover was much funnier

• i wasn't really in the mood for a comedy at the time so maybe a lil bias, lately i've been enjoying no-brainer-THRILLERS. like the one following hehe

MY BLOODY VALENTINE: 8/10

-i'm giving it a high score cuz i watched it with some friends and we just had a lot of great laughs due to commentary. -acting was not bad

-cgi failed miserably haha

• good date movie : DID YOU KNOW? it's easier to fall in love if you experience physiological arousal (excitement even due to fear) during the date. (i learned back in psych classes) they did a study that matched 2 people. one group walked on a swaying bridge while conversating and the other group didn't. the bridge group rated likeability of part a lot higher than the other control group.

THE REASON: people MIS-attribute physiological arousal of the outter stimulus (fear of unstable bridge) to the person they are with. one of the ways you fall in love. ... e.g. titanic
