Tokyo Tales II

By the time I finished that blog entry last night (this morning), I was too tired to keep adding to it.

But it is necessary, and important, for me to mention that I did go see Mai Shojising in Shin Okubo with Mio.

As I noted last night, it was nice to realize I have friends in Tokyo (or at all, but that's not my point).

Especially friends who look like Mio and Mai. It's nice to be seen with people who look nice.

But they were seen with meanyway... So thank you again!

It was also a GREAT show. All the musicians, singers, and comedians were really good, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Mai  has a voice about the size of a jet engine, and it was amazing to hear it.

The only other noteworthy events in my trip were buying some Brilliant Green CDs, a live Wildhearts CD, and seeing posters for Mr. Big's 20th anniversary reunion tour of Japan.

The June 20th Budokan show is sold out, but that's the only show I'd really want to see. I may gamble on a ticket agency and go anyway.
