I must admit, i dread to caption every single one of the image, cos they are all great and they deserve good stories to go with, so it will take forever to finish off. today i decide to take up the courage and give it a try. thank you for being patient, appreciate it. lets begin our journey from prague, the capital...

Celetná stretches a long distance to old town square, graceful sun, temp ~18-22C

rock and roll charity event, old town square, buzzing with ppl

square's center is home to a statue of religious reformer Jan Hus, who for his beliefs was burned at the stake in Constance. The statue known as the Jan Hus Memorial was erected on July 6, 1915 to mark the 500th anniversary of his death

The Prague Astronomical Clock or Prague Orloj, mounted on the southern wall of Old Town City Hall in the Old Town Square, is composed of three main components: the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; "The Walk of the Apostles", a clockwork hourly show of figures of the Apostles and other moving sculptures; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months.

open street vendor, u find goods of all sorts, flourists, souvenirs, handcrafts, snacks and fruits

puppets every where, tourists often find themselves fascinated with the local art of puppeteering

"spa wafers", produced in the spa towns Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, the history goes back to 1856 when Karel Reitenberger started to produce them on a large scale, their taste and shape have not changed ever since

pretty little fountain, found all over the place in old town area

puppet ranges all sizes, craft detail, flexibility, and of course, comes with a price

Václavské náměstí takes u all the way to national museum, at the beginning however, u find a modern building, inside is a boutique selling local casual brand

charity function for local kids to fight cancer, i think... for a little bit of koruna, u get a block of wood, a paint brush to express concern, they are stacked nicely to attract attention

speaking of attention, these guys in red are certainly asking for some, hope they have their problems resolved by now

Municipal House is a major civic landmark and concert hall in prague, and an important building in architectural and political history in the Czech Republic, it stands on the Náměstí Republiky. Around 1900, the building was commissioned by the city on an odd-shaped lot and the subject of one architectural competition, then another, both unsatisfactory. The job was then simply given to architects Osvald Polívka and Antonín Balšánek, who served as much as artistic coordinators as designers. Construction started in 1905 and it opened in 1912. The Art Nouveau structure is an artifact of the Czech nationalism of the time and carries a wealth of ornament by some of the leading Czech artists of its day. The main facade features a large ceramic half-dome mosaic above the entry, Homage to Prague, by Karel Špillar.

palladium mall along Na poříčí has five levels, two stories up, two stories in basement, interior ambient is fine, product image however is slightly out of trend

open photo exhibition of american troops in afghanistan, images on vehicles, aircrafts and equipment during operation, often subject to severe weather conditions

Laterna Magika is a non-verbal theatre, origins ties with the Expo '58 in Brussels, the plays are internationally comprehensible since they are silent. The performances are a combination of dance, film and black theatre

National Theatre is known as the Alma Mater of Czech opera, and as the national monument of Czech history and art. The National Theatre belongs to the most important Czech cultural institutions, with a rich artistic tradition which was created and maintained by the most distinguished personalities in Czech society. This tradition helped to preserve and develop the most important features of the nation–the Czech language and a sense for a Czech musical and dramatic way of thinking. Today the National Theatre consists of three artistic ensembles–opera, ballet and drama–which alternate in their performances in the historic building of the National Theatre, in the Theatre of the Estates and in the Kolowrat Theatre. All three artistic ensembles select their repertoire not only from the rich classical heritage, but in addition to local authors they focus their attention on modern world output

magnificent lamp post stands around the corner of national theatre, stretching at 12 metres high

Vltava is the longest river in the Czech Republic, running north from its source in Šumava through Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, and Prague, merging with the Elbe at Mělník. It is 430 km long and drains about 28,090 km 2; at their confluence the Vltava actually has more water than the Elbe, but joins the Elbe at a right angle to its flow so that it appears a mere tributary. The river is crossed by 18 bridges and runs through Prague over 31 km. Several dams were built on it in the 1950s, the biggest being Lipno Dam in Šumava. In August 2002 a flood of the Vltava killed several people and caused massive damage and disruption along its length

Dancing House is the nickname given to the Nationale-Nederlanden building in downtown area, it was designed by Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in co-operation with Canadian architect Frank Gehry on a vacant riverfront plot (where the previous building had been destroyed during the Bombing of Prague in 1945). The building was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996. Originally named Fred and Ginger (after Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers - the house resembles a pair of dancers) the house stands out among the Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings for which Prague is famous. Others have nicknamed it "Drunk House". On the roof is a French restaurant with views of the city. The building's other tenants include several multinational firms

"Blue Duckling," on a narrow Malá Strana street, attempts to refine standard Czech dishes into true Bohemian haute cuisine. This series of small dining rooms with vaulted ceilings and playfully frescoed walls is packed with antique furniture and pastel-flowered linen upholstery. The menu is loaded with an array of wild game and quirky spins on Czech village favorites. what u see here is a fine appetizer of mixed pate, prunes, pastry and olives

continental breakfast served in hotel, which is nicely situated in proximity to old town square

geometric sculpture covered with padlock keys, corresponds to the recent wave of padlock-clanging-lovers all over europe

@amychen: you jeopardised the safety of drivers and all passengers on the road, by lying, pretending to be vulnerable and playing the gender card, just to catch on a train, for touring? and you have the nerve to gloat about it on my blog? wat a disgrace! you have got to do better in life than this
