I Lived...

That movie was profoundlybad. In 81 minutes, there were about 3 chuckles. Other than that, it was horribly tedious, offensive, unfunny, and just generally sh*t.

The 'writer' was also the 'star' and 'director,' so if I run him over and crush his useless skull like a melon, I can probably get out in 5-10 years but will have killed all the pertinent offenders.

His name is Steve Oedekerk, and if he ever reads this, I'd just like to say "F@#$ you. You, your 'wit', and your film do more sucking than Mongkok on a Saturday night."

From what I've read...

Telling you what's wrong with this movie would take too long and it really is not worth the time, effort, or attention. I avoided this film because I knew I'd dislike it. But even I didn't think it could be this stupendously un-entertaining.

It's not the premise. What's Up Tiger Lilly?was actually funny, and it was made long enough ago (1966, the same year I was) that whatever cultural transgressions it commits have to be written off in the same way that we conveniently forgive Mickey Rooney's wildly offensive role in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

But this horrid tripe was 2002. There's no excuse for this kind of insult.

Well, there isan explanation:HOLLYWOOD

What is it with Hollywood that they just can't get it right? They don't seem to have ever gotten it right. Do you have a theory? Does anyone have a theory? Can anything be done? I'm exhausted--4 unanswerable questions in 5 sentences.
