Well, I'm happy I don't have the swine flu. I fully blame Macau for what I've got. I've been going in and out of sleep for the time being. I just had an insane dream about Jackie Chan...we were filming a new film for him called "Jackie Can". hahahaha. About him being a stuntman and hurting himself once in a for all and how he struggles through his life now. How did this happen?
I just got a new work/project that starts today (lots of software kinks and failures the last few weeks) but of all the days, today I can hardly look at the monitor. So it'll have to wait a day or two.
Dads show prep is well on the way, poor Justin has to listen to me with the singing teacher as I scream out my vocals. Canto is quite challenging to sing, especially when I'm not used to curvin' the words. It all sounds the same to me! hahaha.
A few weeks back I attended the Anime/Comic thingy in HK. Never did I thought I'd buy something there, but I did.
A pair of 3D glasses. Nerd alert.
Hee hee. 3D gaming in my own home. The only problem is the glasses requires a specific monitor, so you really have no choice to buy the monitor too!
So I did.
Wish I can explain it to you, but the feeling of playing games now is real immersive. Just tried the new Batman demo and his cape really looks like its coming right at you. You can control depth of how 3D you really want it too look. Makes your eyes go really cross eyed, but after a while its like 2nd nature.
The motion looks kind of like this, but once the glasses are on, its pretty neat.
I'd say its par with films like UP 3D or Monster vs Aliens. The same effect. It doesn't really pop out at you, but it is like looking through a window and seeing layers upon layer giving it a 3D feel. Movies do work and they are available (miley cyrus 3D concert..yea right). I found a few and they seem to work just fine.
It's called stereoscopic and its been around for ages. Its just nice that it can be enjoyed at home...well, at a hefty price. Playing any 1st person shooter is nuts as the gun looks like its there. Car racing is just insane giving you the feel of being inside a car!
So, who wants to come over and play? Or who wants to make a 3D movie? I guess you could only watch it on my monitor. hahahah
