Hi everyone,
I have to admit - having Star Bucks coffee in the morning is getting addictive. Before my usual creative meetings with our clients I'm usually off in the morning for some Star Bucks. For some odd reason, I write better when there is noise around, music helps but I like natural noises when writing for some reason. Currently making some final notes and adjustments to a scrīpt and from there it's time to move to budgeting.
I'm a very loose writer so I mostly develop interesting and creative ideas and loosley organize them while my co-writer will insert those particular ideas into the scrīpt more properly. It's great to work with someone who is extremely organized and has the ability to take something that is loose and rewrite it so that is is structured - makes sense with everything else. I couldn't have asked for a better co-writer.
I'm actually really looking forward to going to Singapore next week for some creative meetings - as the office is on some Island! I plan to take alot of pictures while I'm there and will definately blog on my little trip.

Recently we stopped by MCL for a meeting and ran into this really cool stand up theatre promotional piece that was sitting in front of the lobby. It's for the new Pixar film that's coming out. They were in 3D, made out of cardboard but very nicelt manufactured. Check these out:

I really enjoy directing animation - even though I'm looking forward to directing live action - some of the projects we are on right now give's me the ability to move the camera in ways you can't do in live action. I'm very thankful to have a good team of professionals working along my side. You are only as good as the people who work with you. Funny thing is - we all have the same creative mind set and we don't even argue creatively - since we all trust each others ideas. I think it's also very important that a Director and Producer have very similar creative mindsets to achieve a common goal - but equally important to challenge each other's creative thoughts and perspectives.

Well - it's about time to go home now and get some rest. Napping is good for the soul. I advise people to sleep atleast 30 - 60 minutes a day in the afternoon since it allows the body and mind to rest. So night is about to hit - and it's time to get ready to play snooker with some friends.

Thanks to Fern from Standard Chartered Bank and her husband, they sponsored me from a charity event to play Marco Fu - ranked 14 internationally for best Snooker Player. Yes - he's chinesese and reps Hong Kong. I wasn't nervous in playing him but I already knew he was going to kick my a$$ in this game. We agreed that the next competition was going to be a drawing competition. :) Well - here goes nothing.

So I snookered him a few times but eventually he let loose and wham bam doink!

He sank those balls in so fast I didn't even get a chance to finish my Ice Tea. @_@

Well it was a quick game but it was very impressive to see him play.
There were some professional photographers taking some pictures -- once I get them I will upload on my page as well. After that our main match we drank some red whine and continued to play with Marco and some other friends. Here are a few pictures of us playing.

Snooker is so different from Eight Ball as the pockets are much more smaller. I personally think it is more challenging and it's all about patience. So if you aren't a patient person - I suggest you stick to Eight Ball.

Well that's a wrap for this morning everyone. Time to get back to work. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend and next time I blog will be Singapore - good morning everyone!
