Hong Kong (4/2): April Fool's?

So, I guess I don't know my own strength ...

Or something.

First off, that last entry wasn't true.  It was April Fools Day.  Just assume that no one is telling you the truth on that day.

When I thought about writing a blog, I thought that the only way to actually "fool" anyone would be to make it seem real.  And the best way to add credibility to something is to acknowledge the fact that it shouldn't be credible. 

If I had just launched right into the whole "all this stuff is going on" without doing the "everyone else is doing April Fool's blogs but I'm not going to" thing no one would have believed me.  It worked a little better than I thought it would.

Plus .. everyone else was doing "i quit" blogs.  That would have been a dead give-away. (although doing that worked on my dad one year ... )

First off ... didn't see a doctor and I'm not having any major medical problems. 

Second .. off (?) ... my landlord is great.  Mainly because I never hear from him.  Things are good at home.

Thirdly of all ... no s.o.

So .. sorry for those of you who were "fooled" by my blog.  But ... c'mon.  It was April 1st.  If I had something serious to post I would have just waited a day ...

Posting something actually serious on April 1st is like going to get your tax forms on April 16, breaking up on Valentine's Day, or buying your Christmas presents on December 31.  The timing is just terrible.

I do want to say though .. thanks to everyone for your supportive comments.  Even though the blog wasn't real, your sentiments and caring were ... and that was really nice to behold.  ^__^
