My poetry/ That Mirage

The sky was dressed today with flourescent clouds

And charming blue

The sun and her golden rays ravished the earth

In dancing glee

The earth bustled with boisterous cheer,

In parading haste

Tap tap pitter pat tap tap

Tap unceaselessly goes the tap wet

Ghoulishly tap in red tap tap

Pitter pat in rthymic chant

Cries an angry noose in grim recount

Drip Drip Drip

In cold blood

Lovingly smothers a victim,Venus,the fly

Seized,sucked dried skeletal die

A menacing chuckle her haunting claws

Strangled gasps and the silent fiend

No longer hovers no longer calls

No more battles fair and foul.

Where the noose lies or the blood dries

Where gently down the stream rows

A heavy heart

Stones and Virginia's stones

Can only a mirage such as that sky

Gently beckons.
