I love this song, yes and also his other classics, but I like this version more so than the swing one. :) Don't u just love music? It's just great, calms u down, makes u happy, makes u feel upbeat and some music makes u feel more attractive for some reason. I think it's because it's a medium of bringing out the glow and light in somebody.

Imagine,if this song is played and I suddenly switch my attention fully to it and become silent, just smiling at whoever I'm talking to. If the person is likeminded,he/she would feel the same comfort level of just revelling in the music and enjoy the moment.

If the person isn't like minded, that's ok also. But I think he/she might wonder about the sudden lapse into silence or feel awkward and not really know what to do but "wait". Sometimes not even "wait" but it is apparent when some people find these little "moments" weird.

I think I'm weird.I have my "moments". :) Like the strangest things catch my attention. Usually little, overlooked details.I told u,I like some things people don't want. Like the crusts of toasts and pizzas. I just like those most.I like looking at people when they don't know u're watching them. They show their truest sides best then. For example, when u're not talking to the person opposite u,their little movements show me what they are like. Or when my cellphone rings and I get on the line,I still watch the other person in front of me. Sometimes u'd be surprised at what u may see.

Don't think I've mentioned a quirk of mine, but I like brown paper bags. Yes those without handles,I don't like plastic bags. I like earrings but not rings nor necklaces. Any necklace looks weird on me.That is the same with watches. But I like wearing a big sporty white watch. Other than that, nada.I like the look of a perfect cheeseburger.  Not the kind that's big and fake looking, all fancy and too much frills. I just like the very toasted, baked look of a simple cheeseburger. If I walk into Mc Dees, I would get 2 cheeseburgers not 1 double cheese. U know why right? Because it's not the same.

I like gift boxes. Sometimes more than the gifts.Ha.I would gaze at a wrapped present, but I wouldn't stare at the noted item. I know everybody loves Brad Pitt, but I like Ed Harris and Clint Eastwood. No,I don't lack a fatherly figure, I like Johnny Depp too. It's just the way Ed Harris talks and his eyebrows would furrow into this thoughtful gaze. And the way Clint Eastwood speaks in a quiet way. I don't know,I find little things like that get my attention.

I don't like popcorn, but i like the smell of the butter and caramel. I like cell block tango, but more becos there's this part that goes "uh UH".

And I talked to this music producer for a long time the other day and he said something that made me laugh. He said I'm very icy on first impression, but after talking to me for an hour, I become something different,at the end of 2,I'm wacky. At the end of 4 hours,he's amazed that I'm actually really a madcap person. In the end he decided that some people have "dog" characters and some others "cat" and he said I'm totally dog. But most people won't know this until they talk to me for 4 hours when there's a typhoon and u're stuck in the shelter. :)

I also realized something recently. I used to say I hate romantic comedies and anything cheesy, but I dig arthouse and war films. Now however I discover myself changing. I also understand why I hated romantic comedies. It's this pride thing I have about not wanting to look like some lovesick puppy, it's this edge and independence I want to muster and absorb in. What I didn't realize is that it made me cynical and jaded and never truly clear about myself.

I really like "My Best Friend's Wedding". They played it for the millionth time and I saw it for the millionth time and laughed at the same things again. I really like "Along came Polly" too and "There's something about Mary", "Before Sunset" and "Before Sunrise".

    How liberating.

HOWEVER i still love Full Metal Jacket and Mulholland Drive and some might call me crazy, but Rabbits too.

I love this song.  It was one of the one's we played at our wedding banquet.  My fave Frank SInatra song is "New York, New York" for obvious reasons :P

I find your quirks interesting.  I think it's our quirks that really define us even more so than our likes and dislikes.  Then again maybe I say that cause I'm plenty quirky.  I have this thing for geeks :)

Mr . Frank Sinatra was a cool man .. his music will live forever .. as will that of Mr. Bing Crosby .. dad has phonograph records (78s) of both artists that had previously belonged to his parents (we actually have a record player that will play them as well ^^)

Without our quirks, we'd all be alike .. wouldn't that make for total blah dullness .. I wouldn't want to live in a "cookie cutter" world and I'm certain you wouldn't either, dear !!! ^_~

Oh Iove this Frank Sinatra classic. Whenever I hear the older records, especially if they still have their grainy sound to them, I always drift away, so pure.

I think it's quirks that make us individual and interesting. Likewise with you, Clint Eastwood over brad Pitt any day of the week, and I like his old western movies too.

u choose the analogies that make me desire u more and more each day L - haha ...... lucky for me, u specified that u are just a single cheeseburger .... u would have tipped me over the edge, if u had been the double cheese ....

who doesn't love Johnny Depp dear?

romantic flicks .... my self-admitted addiction ... ever need a recommendation let me know, just inform of your mood at the time ... ... but, u should start off with "Bed of Roses" (Christian Slater / Mary Stuart Masterson) ...... one of my fav favs -- 100%scmultzy soppiness .......

Everybody has their own quirks, and that's what makes them unique.  :)

When I eat waffles, I have to drizzle syrup into each and every waffle hole. haha

I also don't like to drink coffee because of the bitter taste, but i love love love the taste of coffee ice cream, and any blended coffee drinks. Go figure!
