Video: http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=f5S0lyqLig4I've been so happy lately, getting one good news after another.  The box office sales for the first Thai movie  I have taken part in, 'Coffin', has risen steadily since it was screened in Thailand and Singapore!   When it was launched in Thailand in August, sales had were already doing great.  In October in Singapore, the film was screened for only 2 weeks, not only did it overtake another Hollywood film that was released at the same time, it also successfully broke the record for all Thai films showed in Singapore that year.  According to local media reports in Singapore, this has set off a trend, with viewers watching the movie more than once!  From my side, I would really like to thank my fans for their support!

Personally, I feel that this is a 'different horror film'.  Not only does the film gives you goose bumps but there is also a deeper concept to the plot.  Under the dir! ector's unique filming methods, he not only shows a different perspective of looking at life and death, but inadvertently creates a beautiful side to the film.    And with the effort from the entire team,  this is practically the perfect combination

The film's storyline was taken from one of Thailand's legend, that a living person who spends a night in a coffin can drive away all bad luck.  I had some problems before shooting this scene….of course I was scared because not many people would have had this kind of experience (hahaha, I don't suppose there will be many people with this kind of experience).  When it came to actually filming, I was lying in the coffin and it was really hard and uncomfortable.  Plus all the staff were gathering around me, so any uncomfortable feelings I had were all forgotten!  After filming this scene, my lower back was in so much pain.  Seeing me like this, the director very kindly arranged for a masseuse to come on set to help relieve my pain.  And with the success of the film, I thought that this time 'lying' was really worth it! (Hahahaha)

I have always been a fan of horror films.  When I was young and studying in England, my friends and I would often gather together to watch it (we were those scared-but-still-loved-to-watch kind of people!)  And it has always been a dream of mine since entering this industry to be able to shoot a horror film.  I can't believe that my dream has finally come true!  I believe that horror films can be said to be a common language in the world. Even if we don't understand the dialogue ! in the film, we would naturally be enticed by the mood of the film.  It really was an honour to be able to take part in my first Thai film and I really hope that there will be many more opportunities to come.  I sincerely hope that this film can be screened in many different places and at the same time to be even more successful.

  | Video: http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=f5S0lyqLig4 最近真的很開心呢，好消息一個接著一個！我第一次參加拍攝的泰國電影“棺木 Coffin”在泰國及星加坡上映後，票房節節上升，八月份在泰國上映時票房已經勢如破竹，而十月份在星加坡當地上映僅僅兩個星期，不但打敗了同期上映的好萊塢電影成為票房首位之外，更擊破歷年在星加坡上映過的泰國電影票房紀錄！根據當地的傳媒報導，在星加坡當地掀起了一陣熱潮，更有觀眾一看再看！在這邊真的要衷心感謝所有影迷給我的支持！ prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

我自己對於這部電影的感覺是「不一樣的恐怖片」！戲中的氣氛讓人不寒而慄之外，其實它有一重更深的意境，在導演獨特的手法拍攝下，此電影不但用了另外一個角度來探討生老病死，更不經意地凝造出一份淒美的感覺！再加上整個班底努力的合作，實在是近乎完美的一個組合！

電影的劇情取材自泰國其中的一個傳說，就是活人躺棺材過一個晚上就能驅走惡運。我在拍攝這一幕戲之前都有一些心理障礙，多少也會有一點怕！因為始終沒有這個經驗嘛 ...(哈哈哈哈，應該不會有很多人有過這樣的經驗吧！！ )不過到真正拍攝的時後，我躺在棺木上的木板實在是非常的硬，實在很不舒服，而且被眾多工作人員包圍著，那一種不安的感覺不知之覺地都給統統忘記了！拍完了這一幕戲後，我的腰部非常疼痛！導演看到我這樣子，很窩心的幫我預約了按摩師傅到現場幫我按摩舒緩一下，再加上電影的成績這麼理想，所以我心想，這次“躺”一下都蠻值得的！（嘻嘻嘻 ...）

我一向都是驚慄片的愛好者，小時候在英國讀書就常常跟同學們聚在一起看恐怖片（就是又要怕，又愛看那一種！）而拍一部真正的驚慄電影是我入行多年來的夢想，沒想到今年終於可以實現了！我相信驚慄電影可算是一種世界的共通語言，就算我們聽不懂電影中的對白，也會很自然被戲中所帶出的氣氛吸引著而代入其中。這次真的很榮幸能參與我演藝生涯當中第一部泰國電影的拍攝，希望以後會有更多的機會拍攝更多更好的電影，更衷心祝願這部電影可以在更多不同的地方上映，同時能創出更好的佳績！
