北京年度音樂頒獎典禮

<2009北京流行音樂典禮>於上星期五晚上剛舉行了，這個集合了中、港、台歌手的音樂盛會，我當然也會出席，跟大家一起支持我們亞洲歌手們的音樂!
這一次我真的很榮幸拿到三個大獎 - <年度金曲 – 外面的世界>、<年度全能女藝人-港臺地區>及最高榮譽<年度最佳專輯-港臺地區>，相信每個歌手看到自己的音樂能夠得到大家的肯定與支持，都是最無價珍貴的鼓勵，所以我當晚心情真很激動！<回蔚>專輯獲得年度最佳專輯對我來說是一個非常大的鼓勵，在此再一次感謝大家的支持，我一定更會努力的.
<回蔚>這張唱片是在沒有唱片公司的支持下完成的，還有是以非常創新的數位專輯形式推出，所以能獲得專業評審的青睞及所有歌迷朋友的喜歡是很值得高興的事情！另外這也是我的第一張推出的翻唱專輯，而翻唱的歌曲都是以中國民歌為主，能以這張專輯獲得此榮譽實在讓我太太太...高興了！
獲獎後我第一時間致電製作這張專輯的張亞東報喜，更馬上邀約他一起出來吃飯慶祝！另外和好朋友王力宏一起獲得<全能藝人>大獎，可以在娛樂圈有那麼多發展的確是一件賞心樂事，能夠在臺上表演就是讓我這一輩子覺得最開心的事情，所有歌迷朋友對我那麼多年來的支持就是我的原動力。

虎虎生“蔚”

虎年快就要到了，我先在這邊祝福各位好朋友身體健康，工作順利，財源廣進，吉星拱照！新年當然要許下新的願望，不過今年我想來一個反傳統，我想由你們來幫我許願呢~ hehehehe...
過去那麼多年您們看過那麼多不同形象，做過很多不同事情的我，那不知道大家在虎年想看到一個什麼樣的莫文蔚呢？又或者大家會想看到我在娛樂事業上做那一些新的突破呢？大家可以利用這個星期盡情發揮，在我的官網上留下您們獨特精闢的看法，內容大可以天馬行空，因為我相信沒有事情是不可能發生的~！只要想去做，就一定能做得到！

One World – Part 3: Australian Dreaming

Did you watch the last two episodes that were shown on television? Many of my friends have told me that after watching the program, they have this sudden urge to visit Australia~! This place is definitely a place that I’d highly recommend for everyone to visit. In this episode, I’m going to visit some Australian Aborigines with Tony and take everyone on a journey to see their traditional yet modern lifestyle.
In fact, 400 years ago, before the first European travelers even stepped foot on Australian soil, Aborigines were already living on this land that everyone at the time called the new continent, and they had already established a deep relationship spanning over 40,000 years. On this trip, we were lucky enough to visit the Aborigine tribe leader. We learnt about their lifestyles and saw if their lifestyles had changed or improved over the eras of time. We also tried some uniquely Aboriginal things that they do daily, for example balancing things on their head while walking, hunting with spears and arrows, and many other things. All of these things seemed new and novel to me but in actual fact, these traditions have existed for many years already!

One World - Australia Part 2: Surviving The Outback

Did everyone watch part 1 last week? Wasn't it really great?! This week everyone must continue to tune in and watch, because in part 2 everyone will be able to see me holding Baby kangaroos, and even feeding milk to them~!
This episode will talk about our arrival in the Australian outback. This is a very special place, the weather is extremely dry, every day we have to remind everyone to drink more water because it's very easy to get dehydrated and heat stroke. With the neverending expanse of red land, it's truly a good place where I can peacefully and quietly be lost in my thoughts. However on the other hand if I were to get lost here it would be very troublesome! But a beautiful girl like me doesn't have to be afraid, as someone will come rescue me for sure~! (hahahahaha) And in this programme everyone will see how fascinating the origins of this mysterious landscape are...
In the outback every year animals that die from road accidents, over 60% are the Australian representative - kangaroo, that don't know and have not been taught how to cross the road. In fact mother kangaroos that are killed by road accidents, afterwards the Baby carried in their pouch will become an orphan. In Alice Springs there are some kind-hearted residents who look after these orphaned joeys who have been hurt or abandoned. Within this northern region there are approximately over 250 loving people, they all need to go through training and get government approval before they can become these orphan's "stepmother and stepfather"!~
We visited one of the families, she had turned her back garden into a place to take in and bring up these kangaroos. Seeing these adorable small Baby's really brought out the mother in me, I could hold and feed them milk~! These Baby kangaroos were all very tame! I really admire the hosts of these foster families, who spend so much painstaking effort on these animals. Their kind heart is really worth learning from and should be admired~! Guest Performer at Chyi Chin's Beijing Concert

Last Saturday Chyi Chin held his solo concert at Beijing Workers' Gymnasium, and especially invited his good friend Karen Mok to be a guest performer. At the concert the two sang <Hiroshima Love> together, this song is one of the many classic Karen Mok songs, and is now already about fourteen years old, but in mainland China and Taiwan this song is on the karaoke song list, and so far is still a popular song selection. So that night when Chyi Chin and Karen Mok performed, all the males and females in the audience sang together, pushing the whole night's programme to a climax.
Many years before Karen had already known Xiao Ge (Chyi Chin's nickname), so their roots run deep; in 2004 Xiao Ge participated in CCTV's Spring Festival Gala performing together with Karen, and sang the song <The Outside World>. That time Xiao Ge sang and accompanied on the guitar, while Karen sang and whistled. This performance has always left a deep impression on the audience, til this day there are still many netizens who search high and low for this performance clip to relive it once again. In the cover album that Karen recently released, she also particularly chose to newly reinterpret this classic folk song <The Outside World>, and the result was refreshing to the eyes and ears. When Xiao Ge listened to it the first feeling he got was like listening to "Tamaki Koji"~!
Many years ago Karen and Chyi Chin had the opportunity to be onstage together in the United States and Canada, that time they also sang together <Hiroshima Love>, but Xiao Ge was not very familiar with this song then, so he had to peek at the song lyrics while singing; however this time when Xiao Ge invited Karen to be his guest performer, he promised her he would definitely memorize this song. As a result Xiao Ge really did sing this song with a lot of skill and deep feelings, even Karen said he was even more familiar with it than her! So I really want to thank Xiao Ge for the importance he gave to this song! And also sincerely wish Xiao Ge can continue to sing even more good songs for us to listen, and hurry up and get married with your other half~!
