Celebrity Perfumes
Karen Mok Women's Perfume
Recently over the past two years, the
perfume market in China has fallen on average by 10-20%. However,
self-titled perfumes launched by celebrities who have maintained a high
popularity status; such as P.Diddy, Jennifer Lopez, and Sarah Jessica
Parker have not been affected by current economic influences, reaching
annual sales figures that push the 30,000 bottle mark.
Feeling optimistic
towards the fragrance market, Asian female star Karen Mok also launched
a self-titled women’s perfume. The sweet and elegant fragrance packaged
in a pink bottle surely matched the tastes of female consumers in
Taiwan, achieving ideal sales figures.
Released into the market this month as
the first self-titled perfume by an Asian female celebrity, Taiwan ran
out of stock after being on the shelves for only three weeks. On
average, one bottle of perfume was sold every minute. Fragrances range
from sweet to subtle with scents that included tangerine, passion
fruit, blackcurrant, Jasmine and a variety of other fruit and flower
infusions. The design on the bottle uses fishnet stockings to resemble
the creator’s enchanting legs, adding to its value as a collectable
item.

I feel so excited today because I was
told that the sales for the perfume I just released in Taiwan has been
extremely amazing. It's only been on sale for three weeks and it’s
already sold out! I have to say a very heartfelt thank you to every
friend who bought my perfume. I love you all to death. I'm going to
Taiwan on the 4th of December to meet with everybody! So Taiwan fans,
are you ready?
Have you downloaded the latest

On the evening of December the 2nd, Karen will attend the first CGI Asia Meeting held by former US President, Bill Clinton, taking on the responsibility as the only guest performer during the evening gala dinner. Continuing from her performances at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies, Karen will once again perform in front of many influential political leaders and business representatives from around the world. On the night, she will sing her well known Mandarin song, “Overcast” (Yin Tian) and the classic English song, “Close to You”.
This is the first time for the meeting to be held outside USA, and the topics for discussion during the meeting will mainly focus on global concerns for people’s livelihoods and environmental issues. As a Hong Kong citizen, Karen feels deeply honored to be the only guest performer representative! In fact when Karen was young, she was a member of the Hong Kong Youth Chinese Orchestra and was fortunate enough to perform the guzheng in front of the Queen. But this time she has to perform on stage alone. And although she feels a little nervous, she will definitely make an all-out effort, doing her best to ensure that Bill Clinton has a deep and lasting impression of Hong Kong!

It’s nearly December, which also means that Christmas is coming soon.
Have you prepared anything for Christmas yet? I couldn’t wait and I’ve
already taken out my Christmas tree at home! Christmas is a season that
I look forward to the most each year because for an entire month,
everywhere is filled with the happy and festive Christmas atmosphere.
I also started putting up the Christmas decorations with my colleagues today; we’re getting ready to welcome in December.
At the moment, there’s a huge
Christmas tree at the entrance of our office, so the first thing that
my colleagues see each day when they come into work is this tree and I
hope this makes them happy. Look, the Christmas tree is even taller
than me!
Christmas is a universally celebrated holiday and of course I want to
share this experience with my fans. Right now I’m working with my
colleagues and putting together some fun games for everyone to play
with. I’ll post an announcement about the details soon so stay tuned
and keep an eye out on my blog!
Every year when I decorate
Christmas trees, I’d always slowly put the tree together myself and
then add on lots of Christmas decorations. Looking at it now gives me a
great sense of satisfaction. I even put my most loved Billy toy on the
tree. Can you see it?
