Introducing: Nook Illustration!

In honor of the New Year, enlighten yourselves with the work of Andres Rivera!

Andres is a good buddy of mine, I met him in my senior year at Parsons, we have very similar tastes and have very high expectations of each other. His illustration alias is Nook.

He combines a mix of 3D modelling and then pretty much draws everything digitally in Photoshop. I've seen the original file for this one, there was something like 60+ layers in his photoshop file.

Look at those trees! Alot of his work uses this soft lighting which I find pretty cool. I still can't figure out how he does it.

Whereas I usually draw with ink and then scan for digital finishing, Andres pretty much draws everything ENTIRELY in Photoshop. What a legend.
