The McCain-Palin campaign in portraying Obama as the "other" Palin: "He's not like us."  What, not white? Not ignorant is more like it.  

And when he's not the "other" because he's "not like us" (which I guess would require some knowledge of him) then the other criticism is that the public doesn't know him at all.  "Who is Barack Obama?"  Well, isn't he "that one", "the other"?    No, he's the mystery man with the name that makes him sound like he stepped right out of the Middle East.  

Apparently this campaign is not working because now he's leading McCain by double digits.  

And these people are just ignorant ill-informed lazy voters who vote their party.  I'm a Democrat and I've voted for Republicans in the past because they were moderate and the best candidates.  The people in this video are just rabid idiots.  

The worrisome thing is that these suspicions and concerns are also expressed by a lot of Democrats too, the so-called Reagen Democrats (blue-collar workers mostly).  What I can't understand about them is .... can't they see by now that as soon as the ship started to sink they were the first people to be thrown over the side?  Republicans aren't interested in workers.  They're interested in profits.

Too bad mud slinging sticks.  


P.s.  I heard on NPR that people at some of these McCain Palin rallies are getting really vicious and shouting out some very ugly things including "kill him" when referring to Obama.  I know that McCain wants to win, but at what price?

been following this election coverage since last year, when i was still in canada. obama has come so far and is very inspiring... the countdown is ON!

i watched this one last night... there are some scary people, but of course you have to be a bit wary of buying the image this projects, its easy with selective editing to make it look like there are only evil idiots there...
