Memorial gift 　記念品

Today I've delivered handpainted clock to my customer.

The customer..her husband is going to be 60years old in next month.

There is a custom in the age 60 has special celebration. It 'scalled "kanreki"還暦 She is going to have "happy birthday party" for her husband Since her husband runs a company, she wants to thank to all the people who's been support him and come to his party. so that she's ordered me this clolck for memorial gift.

So I've painted 40 of them!

It was pretty many number to paint for one order. Well hopefully I've done with this works in time before this o-bon holiday come(^o-)

還暦のお祝いに配る記念時計を依頼されました。なんとかお盆前に40個描きました。結構数が多く同じ絵にするのが大変でした。この図柄は何度も描いているのですが・・・。

This time let me show you the process of painting The pics are taken before but design is same as this time I've drew.

first: draw a sketch with pencil.下絵を描きます。

draw with light color, should not be too deep. have the 1st fire in temp800℃　薄めに1回目を描いて800度で焼きます。

add deeper color and fire in temp800℃ again.　焼いた上から色を重ねていき、また800度で焼きます。

this clock I "draw and fire" 3times each. 今回は3回描いて焼きました。

finally put it in pretty box. looks good.hehe.　ちょっといい箱に入れるとステキですね

This clocks are I painted for selling so that they are NOT very art hehe~. Selling stuff should not be too much..you know. I hope everyone who got one feel happy with this.This clock is pretty popular so I've drew many times. Oh, I should took a pic of all those 40 of them together, shouldn't I? see ..I'm still not use to blogging..forgot

この時計は売るための作品なのであまりこってりとしないように気を付けました。気に入ってもらえるといいなあ。それにしても、40個揃ったところの写真を撮っておくべきでした。まだまだブログにするネタとしては甘いなあと反省（笑
