The Girl Sucks video is now playing in Citybuses all over Hong Kong...Woohooo!  One time it actually played while I was on the damn bus.....it was funny because I was standing next to the TV and this old dude watching the video was confused.....he kept looking back and forth from the TV to me. HAHAHAHA.  He must have thought, "This guy must be a rockstar so why the hell is he taking public transportation???" HEHEHE...

On the same note.....(please allow me to put on my serious hat here for a moment).........through the years Hardpack has gone through a lot--line up changes, financial woes, conflicts here and there--you name it,  Hardpack's been through it.  But through it all, I can honestly say that Hardpack has kept its "punk" rock roots to the very core.  We know that recent developments have given us a"selling out" tag amongst our peers, old fans, ex girlfriends etc. I can assure you that we have not sold out....whatever the hell that means anyway.  We've been around long enough to say that everything that has come to us is the result of working our asses off in the underground from day one.  From Hardpack Mark 1 to the current Hardpack Mark X, we are still the same old guys you've loved all these years and none of us have changed--a little fatter, maybe, but still the same.

I apologize for the slightly grim tone of this blog.  It's just that some of the words that have spread around the scene have come back to us.  It hurts us a little when we realize that our fans have turned their backs on us because we, according to them, have "sold out".

We'd like to thank everyone who has  stuck around with us all these years.  I would like to personally thank the rest of my bandmates in Hardpack for welcoming me to their family.  I could not ask for better friends. I'm glad that I have my STW  and HP fam....now my AT family as well.

    Glenny

You guys should let the negativity of others get in the way of your band and your music.  Nobody can call you a sellout if you know and believe that you are not a sellout.  That's all that matters!

trying not to look like a "sellout" is being as image conscious as a rapper trying to look "hard" or a pop star trying to be beautiful.  it's a way of fitting in with your group.  and the ones that always worry about stuff like that are exactly the same (or worse) as the sellouts they are trying to avoid becoming.  the best is not to worry about what other people say and just make music that you like and want to share with others.

Aww that poor guy on the bus he was probably tempted to say something.

Frankly these people that called themselves old fans and accuse you of selling out, were never fans to begin with, mainly just hangers on, and you guys can do without them.

I really want to swear right now, cause you guys are always so upbeat, and hearing knobheads try to put you down really makes me want to say a few choice words to them.

    Keep on rolling guys.

Don't let what other people perceive bother you bro... You guys have not 'sold out' at all... you guys are just doing what you do and somehow that's got you in a MV video and that got on the bus... you guys didn't have to sleep with anyone to get that now did you? You're not getting paid millions if $$$$$??? screw those fools who have nothing better to do but try to bring others down to their shitty level...  I remember when we first entered the scene... we somehow got this reputation that we were too cool? BOLLOX!!! It was simply because we no one wanted to talk to us as we were tagged as the gwueitsai's....
Well I and Ads ans many others have got your backs!!! People talk dude...  don't let that shit bug you...

*hugs* Those who say you've "sold out" don't have your best interest at hand, because if they did they'd be like me and say CONGRATS for making it this far and doing all the great things you guys have done!!!!!!!!!

    Love you guys!!
