Skin:Inks Exhibition　スキン-インクス特別展

Last Thursday night, the Skin:Inks exhibition opening party was held at Racks. Here are some of my photos taken at the event, which was put together by Chinastylus and red dog studios.

先週木曜日アルート特別展へ行った。ラークスでタットーアルティストのペーンティングが一杯在る。僕の写真見て：

From what I understand they took photos of a bunch of people (not professional models) and then put them on a canvas and had artists (tattoo artists I believe) paint onto the bodies...

The exhibition runs for a month or so and the artwork is for sale, a portion of which goes to charity.

Should I mosaic out the nudity?

I don't know what to make of this one... if I was the model I think I'd be mad! :-P

I think this is one of my favorites. 僕は好きな。。。

A case where one misplaced preposition completely changes the meaning of a phrase! :-P

jrs - there were a lot of these boxes around the room, this one was off at the far end of the room next to one of the paintings.

You're right Etchy - thats exactly what we did - photograph everyday people, output the images life size onto canvas and then have all of HKs tattoo artists paint on to them... We're having an auction of all artworks and ALL proceeds go to charity (we're making nothing out of the whole event!)... The exhibition runs at Racks until July 9th and then onto CLIQ for a massive one night closing party and auction on July 10...
