OK, ladies, it’s that time again.
A few months back, having been inspired by Ba-ba-ba Boon, I decided to
hold a little contest, through which I would award my page’s 5,000th
visitor a date with… cough, cough, ahem… yours truly. Unfortunately,
the results of that particular contest, due to my own fault, were
inconclusive.
[Note: There was a slight chance that Carmella may have been my 5,000th
visitor, but the official rules, specifically in regard to her “G.U.”
status, would have made our rendezvous impossible anyway. (Sorry, Carmella!)]
But I don’t see why we should let the shady results of the first
contest spoil the possibility for a second contest, do you? OK, since
we're all in agreement on that point, here goes…
Right now, it is Wednesday, January 16, 2008, 3:55 PM (Central), my page has exactly 9,675 hits, and I can’t help but wonder…
Who will be my lucky Miss 10,000?
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the rules, I have re-printed
them below. They are pretty much the same as before with only one
minor change (see new Rule #1.5):
RULE #1. You have to be female. (Sorry, Boon.)
RULE #1.5 You cannot be a male, who invents a fake female account, in order to qualify. (Sorry again, Boon.)
RULE #2. You can’t be classically beautiful. (I probably won’t be as interested. See Jasons’ blog about Proust.)
RULE #3. You have to live in either Hong Kong, Los Angeles, or New
Orleans. If you live in HK, you have to be willing to come to Mong
Kok. (Any chick, who isn’t willing to “slum it” in Mong Kok, doesn’t
really interest me.)
RULE #4. You can’t be a member of the paparazzi and/or you cannot
sell the juicy details of our evening together to the media. (Sorry,
but my lawyer says that I have to insist on this.)
RULE #5. You can’t be a picky eater. (Actually, if you’re an
Asian chick, then there probably aren’t many things on any menu
anywhere that will freak you out anyway.)
RULE #6. You have to be dynamite in the sack. (Sorry, but my lawyer says that I have to insist on this, too.)
Those are all the rules I can think of at the moment. However, I
reserve the right to make amendments to these rules as I see fit. :)
Let the refreshing begin!
