Blackberry Storm...Is it the I-Phone Killer??

So the new touchscreen Blackberry Storm officially hit the shores of Singapore last week.  I had a great time with the usual suspects partying it up and celebrating the occasion.  These people include Rebecca Tan, Li Lin, and Irene Ang.  David Furman-Lim from Singapore's FHM magazine also flashed has favorite Blue Steel look for the photographers...

The event was held at Supper Club, and Blackberry definitely kept the theme of the night "young, hip, and edgy" to reach out to the mass market...

I think RIM has already won over the corporate executives and business-minded people with their Blackberry products so now it's time to show off their wares to even more including director Royston Tan...

...and local celebrities Melody Chen, Randall Tan, and Vincent Ng.

With the increasing proliferation of touchscreen mobile phones constantly entering the market, the verdict is still out on whether the new Blackberry Storm can truly be hailed as a bonafied "I-Phone Killer."  I don't know either, but this new handset looks great so I just might have to get my paws on one myself and find out!!

no slide out keyboard? then in that case it doesn't have much that the iphone doesn't have already... except it also has no itunes support and no apps store.... probably not going to kill the iphone.
