La Femme

Hi everyone!

Just an update for those who are in Singapore, there's a new chinese drama that I just did and it should be airing soon. Lemme just check when.

ACKK!!! It started already!! haha, I am SO NOT on the ball. It started yesterday. The show's called La Femme aka nu ren dang zi qiang (sorry my computer in Japan can't type mandarin words. Or maybe it can, I just don't know how to change it. haha!) Let's see if I can use Japanese to type it. 女人当自強. HEY! There you go. できるじゃん! So it's showing every weekday at 9pm so please tune in!

Guys, I REALLY need your support for this show because for the past 5 years, I hadn't done ANYTHING in chinese so it was really hard and stressful to read, memorise AND act in chinese this time. English has always been my stronger language so I worked quite hard at it but somehow still felt like it wasn't the best I could do, in terms of acting. So I hope if  I can't get your support, at least cut me a little slack. hehe.. (always looking for excuses!!) grinz But just in case you think I was being lazy, I really tried very hard!

Filming this show was tiring schedule wise but as always, I had fun during the shoot. My first chinese show in a long time, and I got to work with Zoe Tay and Yao Wenlong, both veterans and so professional. It was 2 months of filming and halfway through, when we all knew each other better, Zoe and Wenlong started calling me "brother" or "ah-boy" because I am such a guy. It's weird because I get a lot roles that require a sweet, gentle, softspoken character and everyone treats me so princessy at the beginning but at the end, we always become "brothers". I always feel so repressed doing these roles because I have to be all nice and hold back when all I want to do is go crazy and take my shirt off and wave it around... haha. JUST KIDDING!

So for those who can get to watch it, please tell me what you think, good and bad comments. I need all the help/advice I can get so I can do better next time. I am quite nervous/excited because when I act in English, I know exactly what I'm doing coz I'm in full control, but doing it in chinese, I'm thinking so much about the words that when the director lets me watch myself after a take, I am always surprised because I hadn't realised i did it like that. So I hope it turns out ok. I NEED SUPPORT!!!! THANKS!!!

Sorry I was really stressed during the shoot, and I completely forgot to take any photos!!

And please tell me if I don't make sense in my entries because I've ever never never never (that was a deliberate switch in case you thought it was a typo)  blogged before AlivenotDead. Its an allnew, babybrandnew experience for me!
