THE POWER OF PERSISTENCE & DETERMINATION

I had a chat with my team today... told them a little story about a musical in Shanghai at the moment called "Mama Mia"...

The original writer and creator of the show was turned down by ABBA for 10 years! 10 years, she kept coming back saying that she had this idea to turn their songs into a musical... for 10 years they turned her down. Finally they gave in due to her persistence and now, Mama Mia is currently the NUMBER ONE musical in the world, with 11 shows globally running at the same time and earning around US$1.6 billion a year....

There are many stories similar to the above, and the most important thing I mentioned to my team, is that for every successful man or woman in the world... if you line them ALL UP, no matter what background and no matter what industry, you will notice one thing that undoubtedly remains constant in each person - and that is; Persistence & Determination.

The wonderful thing about Persistence and Determination is that it's FREE! It's costs us nothing, and is merely a state of mind in which we are free to "switch" on or off.

The Power of Persistence is a strength born and instilled in every one of us. We sometimes just need to be reminded to "Switch it on".
