Reiki The Movie at the FACTS 2008

Last w-e we were invited at the FACTS.

There we were asked to perform on both days a small martial arts demo of the movie with Q&A's, to show some footage, and so on..

And so we went!

Me and Annelienstarted to decorate our stand on friday evening to then achive this result on saturday.

But we weren't alone: Marie joined us on saturday, although she had to leave pretty early.

You can actually see her on the right side of the image next to the Jack Sparrow. :p

Our friend Cela did a lot of pr and as one can call it: "pimping". He found a group of girs dressed as in the anime Ikken Tousen and managed to score their numbers. Hail to Cela. Btw, the orange hair one is studying to become a director, so Cela hand over her number, I'll give her private classes! :D

Davide on the other side didn't score any girls, but found his lost father.

As for myself, I've walked around, posed for some pictures and found the coolest character ever! THE MUSKETEER STORMTROOPER!!!!! The most brilliant character walking around! Check his pose!

Now for the FACTS we screened the first official trailer of the movie. And I can say it was greatly received by the public.

The crowd loved the movie, they loved what they saw, and will definitly buy a ticket/copy when it's released!

And then came the martial arts demo, now Martin didn't show up cuz he had to attend another marriage, which he does every week. He must have more brothers and sisters than there are hookers on Hollywood Boulevard, but that's a different tale.

So we had to improvise something, and I had to do a small part of his choreography, which I didn't practice, and we decided to teach the public the moves of it!

Appart from that I met a lot of great people!

Sarah Wilkinson, Steve Niles, Terry Moore, all amazing comic book artists. Btw: I showed Reni's comic to them and they liked it! And then of course a lot of cosplayers and fans.
