GCS 002 : "Tap" by Nick Castle

Second Great Cinematic Scene,

and I bring you not a musical but a dancing movie, starring the great Gregory Hines, one of the best dancers that died on August 2003. Broadway shut down all the lights for a week after his death, a thing that never happened until now.

So this film is "Tap" (1989)  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098442/

Just released from prison, Max Washington must decide which of his previous professions to return to burglar or tap dancer.

The cast is packed with the best tapdancers in the industry and was a tribute to all of them. It's the typical feel good movie.

As for the scene, I'm actually putting three of them, so here it is, I hope you'll enjoy it:

The classic reprise of "I'm in heaven"

A simple but great intro:

And the tribute scene to the best tapdancers ever:

Enjoy!
