past few... and looking forward to more.

I have been to HK and back... missed the storm.... had a mad few days and wonder if i do burn the candle at both ends...work..play....sleep..same routine.

I won't bore you with the details of my work... so after hours...

Arrived in HK on Tuesday afternoon finally after numerous air traffic delays...

finally got to my apartment .. quick change....from rushed sweaty mad woman to cool calm collected fashionista in ten minutes.. i was proud of myself..hehe..amazing what shower, make up and great accessories can do...

Tuesday was Swarovski party supporting a shoe brand at the new spot Privé

Weds stopped by Galleri launch - its a cool new mag promoting local talent...great idea.. i am all for that..then onto the Club Monaco at pao..

I bumped into the same photographer 2 nights running...starting to feel like a party freak..haha..and getting too old for this.

It was really strange.. i met new friends and friends of friends from 1.2 way around the world..i have 2 friends who are unconnected to each other - one is a Japanese designer who has been running around china for the past 10 years... and the other person - i met in England more than 10 yrs ago too.. they both went to school with this local HK designer at different stages of her life.. it is such a coincidence.. and finally i met her...now that's cool...and it was good energy and shared alot of ideas. I bumped into old clients at CM.. from NY... and they were all wondering why i had dropped off the face of the earth...hehe..HK is a place that such events happen...i have met up with people that i do not normally see when i was in NY or Europe... and i bump into them in HK...so.. HK is such an international HUB  - i am very lucky.

Too exhausted for  Agnes B... and went for dinner with old friends from England... cool to catch up on the goss..and a nice 3hr massage. much needed. I was so biz from work.. when the masseuse starts to pound.. and you don't feel a thing.. it's really much needed..

When i met up with my friends.. realised though how long it has been and our lives are really quite different now. We all hung out and had parties.. and supported each other through good and bad times and each was in and out of each other's lives.

I like the fact that they are living quite regular lives and are somewhat satisfied.. but also not. I have been chasing a creative journey all of these years and i realised that they could not even fathom where i have been let alone try to understand if i explained. So i kept it simple.. and they just think i am a super career crazy all these years...interesting what peeps think when i was lucky enough to have a job i loved.. and travel all over the world...meet wonderful people from all walks of life - my extended family and i guess pay the price of still being single and my family being far away for what i can call my own now...i count my blessings..that being i can add to my shoe collection whenever i want...hehehe..JOKING...

Creativity is an energy that each person has inside that you can nurture and explore.

It has changed me. I am a different person to who i was back then. I knew that i was always going to be somewhere else..even from when i was very little. Funny feeling to have when you are young. I love my family and friends no matter where i am in the world. I do not know where i will end up. Asia is what i call my home. I love it here. I am super lucky to have this love.

okay .. had to scoot back to xiamen.. so am going to miss 24 herbs playing 2nite..bit miffed about that....so someone better post vids..

but Harry Potter will do nicely instead...but i am wondering if peeps will be spitting and heckling in the theatre....distress!
