Holidays' greetings!!

shico guHello AnD fellows,

It has been a while...I hope everyone is doing well...

I have been busy myself with projects/teaching/chasing love/staying (in)sane....among many things...

So lets catch up. First off, I would like to  say

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

and to also extend my warmest regards and best wish to everyone. This time of the year is just a reminder for me that life always goes on, and how fast time flies. I am grateful that everyday I can see, smell, experience life and people...these expereinces are sometimes sweet and sometimes bitter..but it is just a reflection of the world we live in. There is no real contenment and sorrow. Things come and go....And that life goes on, until it can't anymore..

I wish the best to you all for all that life will bring-joy, happiness, health, love, properity, and great memory.

Now onto the next....

Last week, while walkig to Bed Supperclub here in Bangkok, I stumbled upon these two brothers who were sleeping on the foot path. Found out that they didnt know who their fathers were (same mother, different fathers). They were from country side and moved to Bangkok to be with a grandfather. The grandfather asked them to come beg for money at night to support the him..

So I took some pictures. The little one was 14 and the bigger one was 15. Life on their own in Bangkok was tough...And I felt sad witnessing that, especially for young boys who seem to be mistreated and abused by family members.

Also, this past weekend, I went to the beach with two of my closest new friends, greg and kazue, and we did some pictures while there.. so please check it out.

Also, I am working on a project with a non-profit organization in Ayuddaya that runs an elephant stay. So I went to visit and talk with them the other day...The place is really amazing, full with elephants and people who love and care for them. They use these elephants as a tourtist attraction and offer an elephant ride for a small fee, to get the place going.

I took some pictures while there and we had a small mini party as well. Check the pictures out.

Until next time,

xoxo

Now where's the shot of you in a wet T? You do realize I'm freezing my ass off in Beijing this winter. Next time you are going to the beach, let me know. Ha, ha. Looks like you guys had a good time.

I really enjoyed the pics of the elephant sanctuary. How are the elephants doing in Thailand? I know they only breed in the wild so, if the wild places elephants can live disappear, so do the elephants. Your friends are beautiful. Was the girl a model? She is so pretty. Glad you're having a good Christmas. I'm off tomorrow to visit Mark's relatives. It is going to be a wild time--his sister, who is getting divorced, her soon to be ex and her 6 year old child will be there, as well as his aunt who has Alzheimer's dementia and then Mark's parents. Ever since his sister got married, I have been demoted to the "bad" daughter-in-law. Now that the "good" son-in-law has treated their daughter so badly, I have gained ground in their eyes, and all by doing absolutely nothing. I think it will be a Christmas unlike any other. I'm not looking forward to this circus. My father died one year ago on Christmas Eve and I would rather spend a quiet day with Mark and not with his crazy family. I'll be sure and take my walking shoes so, if the weather is good, I can get off on my own by taking a long walk. I was rather sad today for no apparent reason, until Mark asked me if I was missing my dad. I am sure that was it.
