Before 881

My story begins like this....

It all started in 1996 when i accompanied a friend to audition for a singing contest. However, i ended up auditioning as well, and was short-listed but my friend was not. I didn't win the competition but was placed as the youngest finalist. This was then more than what i could ask for.

Soon after, i was offered to do a mandarin sitcom with TV Corporations of Singapore. So, I seized the opportunity and began my acting career.

Then on, i also joined the English 'platform' and was part of a few english productions when i was managed by Fly Entertainment, which i still am.  Having performed in both English & mandarin definitely broadened my horizon. I did several tele-movies and short films, one of which is 'Birthday'. This film garnered many awards in Film Festivals overseas.

And in recent years, i was part of a few theater productions namely 'Lao Jiu', 'Strangers at Home', 'Momo' and 'If There're Seasons'. Theatre productions have taught me a lot more to acting and also more than acting itself.

So as you see, these are the interesting years leading to 881.
