My name is Ryder Lee. I live in Corwaith, but I can appear, most likely, anywhere I want.

It’s now Sunday evening and I'm appearing in Hong Kong, on Earth. Lumina must’ve had great fun at the Alive Not Dead anniversary party last night… Whatever that is! She’s supposed to meet up with some friends for dinner tonight... I’m getting tired as the sun rises here! But I do want to see her before going to bed! I guess Ill just “window shop” a bit in Causeway Bay. That what they like to do in Hong Kong! Hehe These people come up with funny names! “Hong Kong... Alive Not Dead… Causeway Bay”?!? Maybe I should Wiki them later, just for fun!! lol

I hope she sees me, because since I don’t know Hong Kong very well, Im kinda lost right now! All I know is Lumina’s apartment and how to get to her office! I can follow her, but sometimes, it’s hard to find her in the crowd… Hong Kong is over-populated! And controlling this mirror is actually harder than you think!! 

Appearing in random reflections or weird mirrors mounted upside down in alleyways… Wait… I see someone looking at me! Is that Lumina?!? She looks different today!! She… She dyed her hair… in RED?!?

Lumina, Im right here!

She didn’t hear me! Where is she going?!? Is she ignoring me? Did I do something wrong again? Let me have a closer look! She’s looking at me again… That’s not Lumina!! Then, how can she possibly see me?!?

What is she doing? Shes taking something from her bag! Gotta be careful! Is she one of them?!? The mirrorspies?!?…

What kind of weapon is that?!? OMG!! No way!! Hahaha She wants to take a picture of me?!? Hahaha That’s never going to work!!! How silly?!?  

Should I go say hi? She doesn’t look dangerous… Actually, she’s more of a “silly” type! Hum… Ok, Ryder, be a gentlemen and go talk to her!! Lumina is not the jealous type!!

Let me appear in a closer mirror first.

She know my names? Wow, this IS crazy!!

Hahaha! Fine! I am Ryder… And you’re not crazy! 

She doesn’t look like she’s from Hong Kong! Ill even tell her I’m taken then!

Also, welcome to Hong Kong, this is where I finally found my love, Lumina!

I actually think she’s playing dumb-dumb with me! Clearly, she knows about me! Ok… Ill play your little game!

Well, there are certain people, of which I am not one, who can look into a mirror and see a different Realm – they are called mirrorspies.  If you can see me, I assume you might be one of them… I have heard of them but I have never met one … until now – they don’t really come into my line of work or my circle of friends.  Before Lumina, I never saw anyone other than myself in a mirror. 

Ok stupid question but are you from another planet?

Ok! This IS a stupid question… or maybe she’s not a mirrorpspy after all!! Hehe Be nice, Ryder! Be nice! Ahum…

I am.  I’m from a world called Corwaith, although I believe your people call us the Dark Realm because we are most active at night. 

Is your world and ours related in someway? For instance if you hold the reflection of my camera in the mirror, will you be able to take a picture?

Wow, wait till I tell Lumina about this!! She’s funnier than I thought!! Hahaha Ok! Focus! Be nice!! Ahum…

You and I look very much alike, and we speak the same language.  I would think it is fair to say that we’re related, but I don’t know how exactly.  And one very frustrating thing is that I cannot touch you or anything in your Realm, I can only see and hear you. 

Are time and space the same for you? I mean… Can you get old? Do you feel time goes by?

Good question!

I experience time and space the same way you would – slowly!  We are more similar than you think! 

And how do you travel? Do you just pop instantly in any reflections you want or you need to “travel” from a reflection to another?

I’m still learning to control this mirror myself! But I can’t tell her that, I’ll look like an idiot!

As long as you are near a mirror or a reflection I can see you.  Although I might have to adjust my position a little so I can get a better view. 

Another dark point…can you get hurt? Not that I want to reveal any of your weaknesses but I wonder if you are immortal as you don’t have a clay…

As intriguing as that may be, I am not immortal.  If you cut me, I will bleed, and my blood is just as red and viscous as yours.

I see…It must be frustrating to be prisoner of mirrors…even more when the girl you love is on the other side of the mirror…

Sigh… Do you really have to remind me? Well, it’s actually not that bad!

We consider ourselves very lucky and are grateful to have each other’s company...

I don’t know for how long I’ve been talking to her, but I really need to get going! I don’t want Lumina to get mad at me again! Oh, here’s my chance: her friend’s walking over!! I’ll just wave “byebye” and tell her to look behind! Her friend’s never going to believe her anyways, and probably can’t see me either so, I think should step back slowly…!!
