REVERSED - 倒影

Ok since Daoyan put his pride into finishing the editing of our super old short movie, i have to share with you the progress of his work.

First you must know this "spot movie" (that didn't have any name until few days) has been shoot in 2005 in Brussels in 2 days. I came from Paris for 4 days and Daoyan and I always wanted to work together for fun. So i wrote a story about Fei, a guy who can see ghosts and spiritual creatures in mirrors and reflections. For some reason he has the power to get into the mirrors and he has to team up with Mya, a newbie spiritual agent (something like a shinigami if you know Bleach) to protect lost ghosts from bad guys who would like to eat their soul.

I imagined this story as a TV show and we agreeded we didn't want to shot the pilot but just a random episode in the 1st season.

The funny thing is that we didn't see each other before i came to Belgium, so all the preparation has been made thru msn...It was all improvisation for almost everything ! The dialog were barely written, Daoyan didn't do any storyboard as he didn't know what i wanted before the shooting itself, and so on  and so on... But we had so much fun to do it !

Long time ago he did a first cut of "Reversed" but let it died since we had nobody to do the FX properly. And lately, he was like "Come on Loan ! It's a cool story and we have to finish it ! just for fun and to remember how crazy we were !"
