First blog of 2009!

This is my first blog of this year and I want to wish everyone a prosperous year of the OX!

As most people partied hard on New Years eve, I had a more relaxed evening. I went to hang out at a friend's house. Then when two of my other friends arrived, I took them to a really authentic Thai restaurant downstairs. We had a really big dinner but I think that that is definitely a must on New Years eve! ;) Then we went up to my friend's house again where the rest of the people were playing some games. I stayed until the countdown and then went home pretty soon after that... I had to get up at 6am to catch a flight for a show and I still needed to pack!

I ended up sleeping only 2 hours and when I got to the airport that morning, I was walking around like a zombie... You know the feeling when you're deprived of sleep...

But then I saw this aquarium with clown fish and turtles and it brought a smile to my face! I never noticed this at Hongqiao airport before. It just made my day seeing these cute animals!

After my trip to Guangzhou I stayed in Hong Kong for a week where it was much warmer than in SH!!! After Hong Kong I went to Xiamen for a gig. Several people told me about the hot springs over there and I would've loved to try that out! There was no time however...Next time!

I had to rush back to Shanghai to rehearse for a show with my dance teacher Emma and Pipi.
