DOCTOR XU - more behind the scenes pics

I've been in Kunming for over a week now and enjoying every bit of it! The weather is great during the day and pleasantly cool at night. The air is so much cleaner than in Shanghai.

The first day here, I thought I was way out of shape when I got so out of breath after walking up to the 4th floor, but then I remembered we're on a high altitude so the air is much thinner! (yes it's a good excuse!)

My first surprise was this mahjong table in the middle of my hotel room!

Seems like I really have to learn how to play this game now!

The view from my room. As you see we're not exactly in the city centre but also not out in the sticks!  Lucky was actually flown out to Kunming a few days too early. She missed her life in Shanghai so she flew back! Not everyone is cut out for filming on location...

The hotel is pretty new, so a lot of the cab drivers don't know it. There's a well known psychiatric hospital opposite the front of the hotel, so whenever we take a cab to go back to the hotel we say: I need to go to the psychiatric hospital!!!

The RED cam... The movies "WANTED" and"Jumper" we're partially shot with this technology. Our DOP is Oscar, but when they need to operate the steady cam, this big guy steps in!
