recently i read another AnD artist's blog.  i left him a comment and he wrote back.

it got me thinking about our personal capacity in life and how much we limit ourselves.

as an artist/performer, we often come across people who view us as something more than your "average" joe next door because of the spotlight we chose to be under.  but the reality is, i am no different than the person next to me.  it is all a matter of perspective.

in my eyes, there is no being in a "higher" or "lower" place in this world.

i'm not talking about our individual talents and strengths, i'm talking about our life reaching potential.
of course we are all unique in our own ways.
but i believe that we all have the capacity to reach as high as the next person.

it is all up to you how far you want to go.

    you have the ability.
    you have the capacity.
    believe it.
    live it.

thank you for your comment, my friend.

    Totally Agree!

We're all God's children~ being a "star" doesn't mean your extra special! (Although at times you might be treated as such!)

totally agree. i recently got some advice from a retired stuntman while being in boston for a shoot. he essentially said that no one is born special, yet you have to make yourself special to be labeled as such, and even then, your only as special as you make yourself.

So anyone can really do what many artists do here, but what makes each and every individual unique is that passion that everyone has and expresses in their own way.

Like you said, not one better or worse, just different and executed different. Some work, some dont, but thats life. Nothing is ever perfect, yet nothing is ever not achievable.

This was the best break from editing ever! Your awesome. =D

Well said.  As individuals, we're really the only ones who can hold ourselves back.

but then I'm a hoary old socialist and believe deep in my bones that every  one is equal even though we have different strengths and talents
