Random Ninjas @ the "ROXY"

Recently, DY and I were invited to watch a local band called “Random Ninjas” play at the ROXY in prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /Hollywood. I was looking for unsigned indie bands to showcase on our upcoming movie soundtrack, and came across this band on the webwww.randomninjas.comI later found out that one of the band members (Funk Masta Ninja) is an old Kung Fu brother of DY… small world. Random Ninjas is an Asian-American band that plays heavy rock fusion music with a mix of traditional instruments and unique cultural instruments. The songs are a combination of diverse languages and humor with a playful undertone. I found myself wanting to jump into the pit and crash bodies with crazy fans. After the amazing and entertaining show the band was kind enough to hang out with DY and myself, cracking jokes about interesting individuals that happened up and down the strip. We ended the night with a photo session (if you want to call it that) that spawns into a massive fan crazy free for all photo op! I really enjoyed the music and the company. I look forward to seeing the Random Ninjas in the near future.
