A productive visit

I'm still here in Singapore and networking wise it's been a very productive trip.  I've met with most of the people I wanted to meet with and then some. Networking was so much easier for me this visit than it was when I lived here last year. I even booked some work through my new modelling agency doing a in house corporate video for Cisco securities which could lead to more work down the road. I may even have to stay a bit longer due to some other projects I'm on hold for. Met with many networks and directrors for film, TV and hosting as well and now that they've met me they can keep me in mind and don't mind me residing in HK because I'm a short plane ride away. There are still a few meetings that I want to squeeze into my schedule before I leave. Here are some of the highlights of my trip:

VISITING SINEMA OLD SCHOOL Had the chance to meet up with Nicholas Chee and visit his mini theatre and store. Nicholas has an amazing setup unlike anything that I've ever seen. It's a store where he sells poster, cd's and other promotional materials for independant films that he or friends of his have produced. He even has a mini cinema upstairs where he screens some of them.

WATCHING A WICKED TALE I had time to meet up with my friend Evelyn Maria Ng to watch her indie short "A Wicked Tale" and I was very impressed and am very proud of her. The quality of filming was good and the story line was creative, sick and twisted and the quality of the actors helped to make it even more interesting. If you reside in Singapore, or will be there for a visit then please go see it if it's still showing. If you like sick and twisted themes then you definitely won't be disappointed. NEW MODELLING AGENCY My new modelling agency has given me a new energy and they are very optimistic and happy to have me on board which is a wonderful feeling. In my view they are one of the best in Singapore and I look forward to working with them. Heck they already booked me a job and I wasn't even expecting to work during my visit here.

A SPECIAL PRAYER FROM MY AUNT AND UNCLE After my job yesterday I had dinner with my Aunt and Uncle and after dinner they had a special prayer for me to wish me the best in my future endeavours. It was a very spiritual and uplifting moment for me as I have never had anyone do that for me. That's all I can think about writing for now. Actually very tired from networking and catching up with friends but want to make the most out of the next few days here. Ciao for now and looking forward to returning to HK. I will be recharged and ready to go... so be on the look out . Hope to catch some beach and sun before I go.
