Giant Robot

Giant Robot is/was a magazine I used to write for for over 13 years. It was really a great magazine started by my good friends Eric Nakamura and Martin Wong as a xerox copied hand stapled zine about "Asian Pop culture and beyond" that slowly evolved to a full glossy magazine which then lead to spin off shops, galleries and restaurants in New York, San Francisco and their home LA. Recently, they've bumped up their website: Giant Robot website. In addition to their usually interesting blogs. they've also added some nicely filmed docu/interviews. Check it out when you get a chance.

Recently, due to the economic slump, the magazine has had to cease publication and move online. It's sad to see such a great magazine go down but these days print magazines are finding it harder and harder to survive. Hopefully with the new and improved Giant Robot website, they will find a new audience and a new following. Check it out when you get a chance.
