I saw these pics a few weeks ago in print and, my god, for the first time in my life I wanted Missoni. I think it was a mix of the clothes (that really suit my body type, vibe, age, etc.) and the photography with its 30s vibe. Somehow, the photos of those clothes got me to believe, at least in my own imagination, that I would be that glamorous, that mysterious if I wore those clothes. Marketing genius combined with a great and well-executed concept.
Elle, I don't think the models working well for this shoot even by a mannequin point of view aesthetics. They don't transcend anything. But the production is great here. I will blog about Gray Scott soon. His is the king of the mannequin look.
