I had the privilege this past weekend to attend the Make-A-Wish first annual Christmas Party. The Make-A-Wish Children's Charity is a non-profit organization founded to give terminally-ill, physically-disabled, and mentally-handicapped children an opportunity to "make a wish" and have their dreams come true.
Several years back, I played a police officer on a Singapore Chinese drama ca...Read more
Here's the way one of our cameramen looked after this extremely-long third episode for The Amazing Race Asia in New Zealand. After watching this episode, I have to conclude that one hour for all that went down simply does not do it justice. I can't even begin to describe all the drama that went down...but I'll highlight some of it.
Beijing is supposedly freezing cold in the winter, and I finally got to find out for myself when I arrived last week to shoot a television commercial for Pepsi cola. I've been here for about a week, and it's been one cool experience.
Recently, Marc and Rovilson organized a party in Manila for their friends and fellow Filipino alumni, Jac and Aubrey, from the first season of The Amazing Race Asia. I was totally bummed I couldn't make it, but at least Jac was kind enough to send me these pics:
....Now, when Ann from the team of the "Dancing Mums" muttered those words as she and Diane were trying to assemble the bicycle, I just totally busted up. Of course, it totally makes sense, but the way our story producer Ariel White cut it was perfect! Great job, Ariel! Here she is below:
With episode one of The Amazing Race Asiaon the airwaves, it's time to bring up some other "amazing" things.
I couldn't believe it! Yesterday, it actually snowed here in Singapore:
If you didn't know, Singapore is located right near the equator so the general climate here is tropical, which is hot and humid with sudden rainshowers.
I should've done this a long time ago, but it's better late than never. If you got kids or friends with kids, then I highly recommend this children's activity book from first time published author Li Lin Wong called
Perceptive Play!, especially with Christmas coming right up. I hear it's pretty good
...and would be a lot of fun for...Read more
A tlast, the second season of The Amazing Race Asia is off and racing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to catch the live telecast last night, but I hope you did. If so, what'd you think??
Starting off the race for the second season was as crazy and exciting as the first. All the teams were totally amped to get the race on the road. With how well the first season did, we knew this first episode really had to "pop." Little did we know teams like Henri/Terry and Monica/Ed would already be "poppin" o...Read more
A few hours from nowin Singapore, the premiere of the second season of The Amazing Race Asia will telecast. Unfortunately, I won't be able to view it because I'll be working with Audi as they launch their newest and baddest sportscar, The Audi R8.
However, I'll be sure to write about the first episode and what happened behind-the-camera along the way so make sure you stay tuned.
Hopefully, you can catch the race because I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
Well, the second season of The Amazing Race Asia is right around the corner, and it's great to hear that people are really excited about it. In fact, people have already been asking me how they can sign up for Season Three. I don't even know if there will be another season, but we can all wish for it, especially since Santa Claus will be crashing your neighborhood Chimney next month. Regardless...Read more
