TARA2 Wins at the ATV Awards

The ATV (Asian Television Awards) were held last week, and I'm proud to announce that Season Two of The Amazing Race Asia won the award for Best Adaptation of an Existing Format.  I think it's the first award for the show, and I hope we can win some more in the future, especially since the original U.S. version of The Amazing Race has already won six straight Emmy Awards!

Until the...Read more

Education and Beer

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to fly to Kuala Lumpar and speak to a group of prospective students and their parents at Taylor's University College.  Several months earlier, the university had expressed interest in me being their Brand Ambassador for the School of Communications.  Quite frankly, I wasn't sure what to make of it initially.  However, I quickly realized that this was something...Read more

Rockin in Bangkok for the TARA3 Finale Party

Even though I was unable to partake in the festivities and merrymaking this year at the Finale Party for The Amazing Race Asia, I'm happy to be able to see that everyone present had a rockin good time!  Thanks to Marlene at AXN for sending me these pictures so that I can see how great everyone looks after they're all cleaned up once again!  Natalie definitely was back in Mi...Read more

All Amazing Things Come to an End...for Now!

And just like that, another season of The Amazing Race Asia has been completed.  It's great to know that the show has grown so much in "leaps" and "bounds!"

As excited as I am from the success of the show, I need to get  a little more "grounded" and talk serious for a bit.  Congratulations to ...Read more

O-Man...I Love It!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to chat to fans of The Amazing Race Asia for the first time at AXN's official website, and I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who dropped in.  I apologize if I wasn't able to reply and respond to all your questions, but it's so nice to hear how much you all have enjoyed this season's race.  If you would like to read more about the race, then yo...Read more

U-TURN Me On, Geoff and Tisha...

Well, we just finished up another leg in India, and the teams are really starting to look as tired as they must feel.  Actually, all of us in production are really wearing down, but we all still have no qualms cuz where else do you get to see so much of the world in such a short span of time?  I'm not sure what this lady below is all about, but I think she must be some sort of a portable re...Read more

Getting Wet and Wild

With only five teams left in The Amazing Race Asia, there's even less time to waste because there are fewer people to check in at the pit stop.  Therefore, our team has to keep running just to stay ahead of them all...Now, some viewers think I can be a "serious dude&...Read more

The First Non-Elmination Round

So if you think this season's race is tough, try balancing on a conventional rubber street cone in Stanley, Hong Kong...

Actually, just taking this picture and timing it correctly is pretty d...Read more

The Longest Pit Stop...Ever

Just when I thought this season's The Amazing Race Asia couldn't get any more difficult for everyone, I was wrong again.  All the remaining teams really had a difficult time driving around the streets of Taipei--and I totally felt for them, especially since I had to wait at the pit stop the entire time they were struggling to complete this leg.  As if driving around town wasn't ...Read more
