Samsung Unpacks in Singapore, London, and Dubai

Last night in Singapore, I helped "unpack" the newest addition to the Samsung Mobile range with the Jet.  The entire event was one amazing affair, and of all the product launches I have ever attended, this one is definitely one of the biggest and most memorable.  In fact, the similar event also took place in London and Dubai on the same day with even more...Read more

Spanks for All Your Birthday Wishes

Well, it was that time of year again for me, and I'd like to thank all my family, friends, and fans for all their birthday wishes.  Another year has flown by, and I ain't certainly getting any younger.  However, I can always look back at some earlier versions of me to always put a smile back on my face.  Here's a shot of me from way back before I was racing around anywhere...

So What's Up with TARA4??

Wow.  This year is flying by pretty fast, and a lot of people have been asking me what's going on with the fourth season of The Amazing Race Asia, aka TARA4?  Good question.

To answer that, some final "pieces" of this production jigsaw puzzle are in motion.  Now, it's just a matter of time before we get the final piece of news that TARA4 is either on or not.

And once everything is confirmed and official, I will be sure to let you all know first!

In the meantime, I caught up with some TAR...Read more

Fashion and Saving the Children

Well, it looks the fashion industry is still Alive and Not Dead here in Singapore despite the so-called economic downturn.  Recently, I was invited to the new Just Cavalli store opening along with Pierre Png and Andrea De Cruz here with Team VGO...

With all the news of companies closing down and people getting laid off, the fashion industry seems to have weathered the storm with bo...Read more

How Does this WannaBe Tarzan Stay in Shape in Bali?

First, here's some more leaping in keeping with my Tarzan tradition.  Watch out Below!!

...and where'd my shorts go??  Usually, going to exotic islands like Bali really gets me motivated to do absolutely nothing.  However, this is the exact opposite of how I felt this trip.  Normally when I'm overseas fo...Read more

What is Hell All About?

One of my friends just sent me this hilarious piece on one bright college student's take on What is Hell All About!  Enjoy.... HELL EXPLAINED BY CHEMISTRY STUDENTShareThe following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid term.

The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well :...Read more

Up Close with Bali's creatures

As always, I've had an awesome week chilling in Bali with the family.  The weather was stunning, and it's actually a lot less humid than Singapore.  Our dear friend B built a beautiful villa in Bali so we're really lucky to stay here when we do shoot off to this beautiful island.  I came to Bali for the very first time in 2002, and the place has really developed and moderniz...Read more

Planting trees and Seeing DA MAN

Just this past April 22 was Earth Day 2009, and I did my part to appreciate the Earth's environment with planting a new tree at Pasir Ris Park.  I've always been a big believer to "Go Green" and do what we can to preserve the environment so this was a meaningful event sponsored by Origins.  Actually, I was expecting to do some major shoveling and digging, but the "h...Read more

Back in School (sorta) at Taylor University's Mass Colympics

With my face mostly back in place, it was time to meet the masses once again.  This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending Taylor University's Mass Colympics in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia.  The event was organized by their School of Communications, and I had a great time meeting with the students and lecturers.

Quite honestly, it's been a...Read more

Blackberry Storm...Is it the I-Phone Killer??

So the new touchscreen Blackberry Storm officially hit the shores of Singapore last week.  I had a great time with the usual suspects partying it up and celebrating the occasion.  These people include Rebecca Tan, Li Lin, and Irene Ang.  David Furman-Lim from Singapore's FHM magazine also flashed has favorite Blue Steel look for the photographers...
