W Hotel Hong Kong Woo Bar launch Event

Frequent visitors to our site may have seen that we have been working with the W Hotel Hong Kong for a number of years,  especially in the last few months with their DJ competition (which just ended on June 15th).  

Last Friday night the Hong Kong's W Hotel held a big event to celebrate the launch (or rather relaunch) of their main bar and lounge area as the Woo Bar.     Coinciding with that they welcome the start of a 3 month exhibition of famous rock and roll photos by the legendary photographer Mick Rock. 

To cap off the evening's entertainment they also featured well respected Beijing indie rock band "Queen Sea Big Shark" (后海大鲨鱼)  to perform.  They invited AnD to attend the afternoon press conference interview with Mick Rock in person.   Here's some video of that plus a clip of Queen Sea Big Shark performing to a packed house later that night -

Pretty much anyone between the ages of 12 and 60 should recognize some of Mick's most famous work.... including the above album cover for Queen.
