2 important people in my life with 2 birthdays a few days apart and this year its gonna be a busy one.  Ryan's bday will be spent in dress rehearsal while dads will be during the show, so Happy Birthday to both of you.

I got Ryan's present and it has something to do with technology...no its not a pair of 3D glasses...hahaha.

For dad, although I got him a gift already, however there is another suprise for him and for all his fans and for all you guys! It's everybody bday today!

Before I explain anything, I have to mention that the special guest for the Hong Kong concert is the serenading, pimp,  Justin Lim

For the past year Justin and I have worked on a few music tracks. A fun project where we took my dads old tunes, kept the original sound and made them into fun dance tracks.  The point is just to have fun keeping the old sound intact.

We've been trying to plan the marketing, promotions and all that hoopla, but I can't wait any longer.  Everything is always about money, so it makes perfect sense to share this with you for free.

So may I present to you, one of our tracks "The money song"  or simply "Cheen"  "錢" (money in cantonese).  As you can guess its written for the state of economy.

The song is in English and sung by Justin (it is about money right? Or a girl? hahaha) with me doin the rap bit.  This version includes dad's vocals in the mix as well for a little more fun for the fans.   Hope you guys enjoy it. See ya'll next week!

Quick update: Its up on youku for you China peeps.

What better way than to have the old school Soul Train line dancers dance to the old school beat thats new??  These guys are amazing.

Thanks to dad for letting me have fun with his songs and being such an inspiration and allowing me to work on more of his classic tunes.  Thanks to Mr. Ass for pushing me. Thanks to Justin for melting every girls heart. Thanks to Kelvin @ Rubberband for mixing the track nicely together.

Check out the original version below!

Hope your dad & bro had good bdays and this upcoming year for them is fruitful.

Good cover.  I didn't even recognize Justin's voice.  I love that you put the vid to old Soul Train footage.  I'm catching some of the dancers that were on there weekly.  You know you guys have Fred "Rerun" Berry in your video right?

Great job Scottie and Justin.  Hot track, that song is so Money.  I love the video too, that big guy doing the slow mo dance was my favorite.

Happy Brithday to Ryan and Uncle Sam.  Haha, you think it's cool to call your dad Uncle Sam?  See you all tonight, I'm psyched.
