Halloween Snore - Elephant Madness

  It was a true disappointment - or perhaps I just wasn't happening enough to party it up at the best places, seeing that a couple of parties I hit, was a snoozefest. So upset seeing that Halloween is really my favourite holiday of the year. I guess being in Malaysia means I have to find a new holiday!Despite being let down, it was made up by a 2hr drive to Kuala Gandah to visit the Elephant Sanctuary in Pahang. It wasn't too difficult to get there since I managed to bring Carmine on to the trip. Got to see the elephants wash up, fed and also sit on them for a natural ride! The day was great and after that, I went to Deerland, about 2km away and managed to see and touch so much more!Unfortunately my camera died in the middle of checking the exhibits out. It was sort of a petting zoo but not just goats and donkeys. I got to pet an ostrich, feed a deer, play with a rabbit, rub a sunbear's belly and even hold a snake.
