(Thanks to Tengku Loreta for the pic! At the Lux Princess event in Ritz-Carlton Ballroom)
After more than 23 months in Asia, I’m finally heading back for Christmas.
I promised myself this year that I wouldn’t eat Indomee for Christmas Eve all alone.
I can’t wait for Christmas and New Years especially. I’ve cancelled all invites bc I just wanna hang out with my parents.
I hope they want to hang out with me.
Vancouverites – are you ready for me to come home???

I had an amazing day and night today! Everyone knows I’m a workaholic, so that means when I get a couple days of down-time, I start to get antsy and annoyed if I haven’t been productive. So last nite I was talking to Pirate about how I wanted new sunnies and get busy in HK and I did all of it tonight! Talk about willing it and getting it in speedy timing!
The spirit of being positive, chanting and willing what you want can truly reap benefits! I wanted sunnies and I won a new pair of Roberto Cavalli sunnies at an event dinner!
Woot! Can we say “ho” excited???
on my WILL list:
-rent-free apt in Central
-car in KL
-movie in Canada
-guy friends that don’t get new girlfriends who hate me even if i didn’t do anything to them
-huge jumbo fluffy bath towels for Xmas
Note: Can you tell that my english is deteriorating even more being in HK and getting “ho” bad??

My photoshop is down so I can’t really clean up the edges of my double page spread but putting it out will be better than nothing! I worked with an amazing team the photographer Kim H was a bit quiet in the beginning but soon after we were all cracking jokes and chatting.
I loved the make-up artist Chester who was incredibly patient and sweet. Make-up artists are the ones who make us look beautiful. You’d be surprised how we look before entering a shoot. Hope you guys like this one!

I flew back to shoot Joe’s music video last week and decided to stay a couple more days extra for Malaysian International Fashion Week. It was not planned so I didn’t manage to attend most of the shows. However, I was uber happy to support Dodo Fonseka since she was the face of MIFW.
I had an opportunity to be styled in Bernard Chandran on the night of the M-IFW Gala along with a few other celebs like Syafinaz Selamat, Yasmin Hani and Chermaine Poo. I haven’t really been able to dabble into much fashion since being in Malaysia which is such a shame because I have a degree in fashion and a thesis regarding Malaysian fashion in particular.

It was a real treat to meet Dato’ Bernard Chandran and his wife Mary who is an unbelieveably stunning couple. I had a quick press interview about my outfit and I had great front row seats beside (former F1 driver) Alex Yoong who provided very intellectual commentary as we gawked at women with ass cheeks hanging out.

Work is work and after work, that meant play! The new “it” club in KL is Rootz, located on the top floor of the now refurbishing Lot 10. I got to see my friends and spend some chill time before catching a flight back to HK. More good things to come out of KL soon! I can’t believe how quickly time has flown by!

(Enjoying a beautiful sunset)
Its been a whirlwind of events since Halloween and as much as I’d like to complain, I really can’t. God has been so good and for all the down times i’ve had this year, this last quarter is really pulling in some great jobs. Perhaps developing strong relationships vs. being financially focused has really helped me look at things in a different perspective.
After all the music video talk between Joe and I, we finally made it happen and managed to shoot his Do It, Duit video in Johor (southern state of Malaysia). Although the heavy monsoon rains made things a little challenging, we did get beautiful sunny skies at the right times!
I flew down to JB to meet up with the rest of the Kartello crew and after a meandering drive to Mersing, we took a jetty to Pulau Rawa. Pulau Rawa is unbelievably beautiful and its got beautiful white sand with waters that are as blue as the Maldives.
I really can’t wait to see how the video churns out. Guess i’m a bonafide video vixen now!
Shout outs to Joe Flizzow and Phuture Phlow Productions for making it all happen!!

(Snaps with Joe and Sheikh Haikel making his cameo at the Johor Golf Club)

(Sending a shoutout on the Kartel – Behind the Scenes footage)
