I won the contest with Hummingbird Music!

I can't say it enough. I am so grateful, and so lucky, and so thankful to have such supportive people listening and appreciating what I have to offer to the world.

Words can barely express how grateful I am, and I wish I could walk up to each and everyone of you that gave me even just a single word of congrats, a big warm hug to show you guys how much I appreciate it. So since I can't do that, I know I have to keep writing new songs while I'm in this wonderful mood in front of this beautiful world ahead, hopefully to win your smiles, and make your days. =)

Last night I was in my hotel room, reading the wonderful messages from friends and even strangers, and my phone rang. Mom and dad were calling from their room two floors away, and told me that, (despite being a bit technologically challenged..), that they had just clicked into my Youtube and saw my winning video and my response video. They called to say that they were proud of me...

It's amazing how much the internet can do, really. I've been frustrated before, wondering when I can ever make music for people, and have a channel to express myself. It's an amazing feeling, to share love and music. Much more than anything else. It really isn't about being in the spotlight. It's about being yourself, and sharing yourself. In anything that we do.

Every step along the way, I've slowly come to realize how much I can make of myself. And I wouldn't have been able to do it without you. Friends, strangers, the internet, other music loves, musicians who are more popular than me, less popular than me, whatever. You've given me a place to share.

So thank you. =)   It's just the beginning.
