Every film needs amazing locations, locations that will get the audience to dream, to believe in your film and follow the characters in their adventure.

Now, since Reiki is a 100% low budget film, finding the locations for an action/fantasy film is far from easy!

But where there is will there is belief! And we managed to find some great locations!

First of all we found the locations for the "present" time scenes.

Most of the shoot will happen at the Filature Industry Zone.

I went to scout the place this Sunday with Davide (who will play Hansel). And it was a great and beautiful trip. It's amazing to walk into the grounds of an forgotten place. It's funny because the first steps you take, you are a little doubtfull, but after five minutes, you forget everything and this Industry Zone becomes your playground.

Now, this is what I call the Million Dollar Set! Really it's amazing! And we are definitly lucky to have found this place!

We were even caught by the firemen, that were actually working next door, but after a nice chitchat, and explaining that I was shooting a film, they were all nice and sweet, and even provided us some tips for the location.

Then the "Past Scenes", more exactly the Bohemian Party Scene wll happen here, at Marie's place.

At this location, we will be able to control the electricity and lamps! Create some fires and other sorts of lights! Which is extremelly important for this exact scene.

And last but not least: we got a castle!

Gravensteen castle right in the centrum of Ghent.

On the next stop: prop and clothes design!

    Take care all!

    Pedro
