i went to this a few years back. "shut up , get the script.... shut up.....get the script....shut up....get the script.... " he got that totally drummed in my head in a rather annoying fashion but it worked, I remembered all of it. Anyhow, excellent course.

A lower budget 90-minute film. Lots of dialog should help. And I suppose there won't be any pyrotechnics or stunts in it? ;D May the force be with you, Patty.

    "No No No !!!"
"Is Film Marketing, but not film making"
    and hahahahahahha "Budget vs Money"
    "HKG$10,000 vs US$1,000,000"

Actually, I will attempt  to write a new story that takes place in one location or can be made within US$10K.

Dov Siemens had applied his years of experience to give us the PRAGMATIC approach in how to get started as a feature film director.  The most useful thing I've learned is NOT TO MAKE SHORTS anymore.  Instead, I will attempt to make a 90 min movie.  The next useful thing I learnt is a simple way and clear concept on how to create a great script.

What was the most surprising thing you learned Patty?

Are you going to try to go low budget and get the 90 minute version of your short done?

I think the most important step is still the script.  You can watch a bare bones stage reading and it's moving.  To me, along with KISS,  it's also ITSS "it's the story stupid".
