Sorry I haven't been up for a while

Hey there everyone,  Sorry I haven't been on for like a month, it's been a hectic time - kindaI spent a week sick as a dog, 10 straight days shooting, then a week away in Phuket (awesomeness)But I'm back now, so I thought I'd drop in and say helloI had my mum in town the other day, and on her last day we thought we'd go get some brunch at the P.S cafe on orchard road. We'd never been there, but were always a fan of the Dempsey Hill location.Well I'm glad we went, because it was awesome. The decor is so old worldy and colonial, that I didn't feel like I was in Singapore - the view was great, the food top-notch as was the white wine sangria (don't judge, it was Sunday!).Any-hoo, if you can't already tell, I highly recommend the place... here's a couple of pics:-Got back to shooting Sony Style the other day - it's weird to think we're only up to ep 6 on the broadcast, but I've only got 12 days of shooting left until September... so you can tell we've been busy.I was shooting at G-Star the other day, which was cool... I've always liked their look - I just wish I could afford it moreAnd later on that night we were shooting the after party of the start of Singapore Fashion Festival, which started off on the roof of the tallest hotel in Singapore.... The view was amazing, and I was surprised by how little wind their was. Unfortunately, JUST as the camera crew arrived the roof was closed because of lightning proximity.... typical. It was a cool party, it was just a pity I had been working for 18 hours and had to work the next day.... otherwise i would have partied with the Time Out peeps some moreBut ALAS I had an event the next day - I was launching some Singtel thingie... but it was really fun. I got to use the same Touch Screen Multi User Interface that they had in the Bond Movie which was great fun, and I got to co-host with the lovely Stephanie Chia, who forgave me for my Italian jokes (turns out she's half Italian), but it was all in good fun.Though the second the event finished I was out the door to meet the wife, because we had GOLD CLASS tickets to STAR TREK BABY!!!!! My wife and I are HUGE trekkies (or trekkers, depending on your point of view) and had a rollicking good time sitting in huge reclinable chairs, with blankets and a butler bringing the booze... I just wish they brought a bucket for me to pee in too.Star Trek is warp factor AWESOME - even for those new to the franchise.... get involved and go see it....till next time peepsLive long....... and prosper
